While working in film vanaprastham a French technician said that If mohanlal was in Hollywood he should have many Oscars on his way. But still he manages to get the attention of all. Irony is that year made him superstar through mass action 'rajavinte makan' and romantic hero through the evergreen romantic film 'namuk parkkan munthiri thoppukal', along with the best comedy films. Also he got his first state award in that year. As ar as I knw his first selection to national awards list was also in that year. I have one suggestion..could u plz react to the proposal scene from 'namuk parkkan munthiri thoppukal'.it is one of the best non cliched proposal with elevating bgm.u will be blown away.

I used to watch the Mammooty mohanlal movies when they used recognised as good actors and not stars.Now only watches thier selected movies.Any way if they want to take the easy route and only make movies for the so called fans let them do it..For us once they fail there is always a Fahad or a Prithvi whom we can bank on for better selection of movies..Once the Fahad/Prithvi stops doing good movies off course we will move to the next actor or else watch other industry films.I think there is no fixed market share for any star in kerala.A bad movie of any star dont survive in kerala.Mohanlal I feel got a bit advantage as far as the star power is concerned but even he cannot lift a totally bad movie like the salmans and Rajani does..
