This interview would have been more indepth if the interviewer dug deep and asked follow up questions and probed more. You dont just have written questions for an artist like Brymo. He had a lot to say...

Normally, this interviewer deserve decking 🙄. See material infront of you and you are asking him penned down questions. Interviews like this, you pick up questions from what the interviewee says and keep it interactive. Not to talk of her head nodding like "Oga talk fast let me ask next question '. The interviewer lied in her question about there being a tussle between Burna Boy and Rema. There is no tussle. Burna Boy said he doesn’t understand the term Afrobeats. That he chooses to call what he does Afro-Fusion. Rema, speaking at a different occasion, said Afro-Rave or whatever, we all will meet at Afrobeats awards. That’s not a tussle, people spoke about their personal opinions.

Not taking the fact that he (Brymo) admitted to asking Simi for sex to collaborate but he should be ashamed of it and remorseful. How can that be normal that you feel no remorse afterwards? Well, at least we can all agree that both aren’t on same level presently; Simi sure is on a higher pedestal than him now.

If this man is calling current Arobeats musicians thieves for sampling and fusion, then he's calling Fela a thief as well, because Afrobeat from Fela Kuti was not an original concept, it was fusion of different genres from different countries and cultures, including Nigerian music to create Afrobeat. So to call an artist a thief from drawing inspiration and not straight up stealing someones art doesn't make sense. This isn't deep this is just hating. There are platforms that help artists, either use it or stop complaining.
