me too, excellent new features. really usable core tools instead of flashy marketing features. LOVE the new curve shape thing and the new vector tools Now we desperately need a really usable vector export and I can kiss illustrator goodbye. that svg export feature is unfortunately not very usable.

When making the mask for the highlights is there a way to make it so the stroke sits above the highlight? So it'd be displaued Outline->Highlight->Fill. For characters that have outlines.

Yes. You can open the layer properties of the mask, go to the Masking tab and check "Exclude strokes"

Be positive ...lots of hard work here is invested. If you want such characters...it is advised you switch to 3d programs...but in my opinion didn't watch the vid but i suppose the purpose of the video is showcasing the tools and how far you could push them.
