Hello Moe, nice day, I saw your tutorial with Duik Bassel but you have switched to Moho. My question is what's its benefits & is it faster?
@MoeU33Hailey
@MoeU33Hailey 2 жыл бұрын
Hello. Duik is useful, but I think it is more suitable for make MG Animation (like Deekay), also some effects and keyframes presets. Moho is a purely 2D animation software, suitable make characters, such as drawing or change shapes are more free. (I think Moho is similar to Adobe Animate in some ways.) And more important thing for me is Duik is high requirements for computer configuration because it is depend on AE, but Moho not, I can use it in a regular laptop. But they are just tools, I can't say which one is better, I will select the suitable one to do my work.

@@MoeU33Hailey thank you. Your 360 rig is great, but it’s actually an animation with key frames. I wonder if you could make a live 2d avatar like vtuber with moho or AE which can be used in real-time software like Facerig?

@MoeU33Hailey
@MoeU33Hailey 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for you like my video! As I said in the video, the most important thing to rig character is the split character and layer arrangement. As long as these two things are done well, it is not difficult to rigging. But different characters have different rigging plan. If I have enough time later, I will record a video of me making 360 character.

oh my god ❤..., I really can't believe this 👏, I can't stop watching your videos earlier, Honestly at first I was a little bored with your video tutorials (which are about moho advanced tutorials), But gosh... I don't know why when I watched the video tutorial in its entirety (totally in its entirety), I'm really really impressed with you, And... gosh... before I was a little underestimated, But it turns out that it was my fault that I looked at you one-sidedly, Because in fact, if i'm really serious in studying..., Once again I'm really very impressed with you, So far all I know is that you're the only one who gives a very very amazing tutorial, Even you make it for free on youtube..., I don't know what to do what to say because I was so amazed by you (I'm serious)..., Your tutorials are really really amazing, And I hope you don't stop to always provide tutorials on your channel. This is from me "It's okay if you don't have many followers/Viewers, but at least what you do is very useful for many people, and one day your actions will definitely be rewarded by God", you are truly a genius..., AND I WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR FAITHFUL SUBSCRIBER. your tutorial is like a motivation for me not to stop in the animation field and keep improving, REALLY REALLY THANK YOU SO MUCH MoeU33 ❤

@MoeU33Hailey Жыл бұрын
Either layer transparency or layer visibility can do this. You can see that there is a green line on the timeline panel, which is the visible channel of the layer. Double-click the green line to switch between display and hide. You can open this channel on View - Timeline Channels.

@MoeU33Hailey

It takes about 4 hours to make this project, because it only has the head, so it is relatively fast. If you want to change clothes, actually you are rebinding part of the character.

hi, Moe. Thank you very much for your tutorials. Your characters are not shaded as per your style. It would be great to know how you'd approach character shading or just shading in general. for example, this commercial was done in moho --> kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mMeRaK6H3r_FXac.html ----How do you think they achieved the character shading? The shading seems animated, the shading changes as the characters turns or move into light and shadows. How would you do this shading? it would be cool to see how you'd approach such advanced "anime-like" shading on characters. Thanks for the tutorials.
@MoeU33Hailey
@MoeU33Hailey 2 жыл бұрын
Hi, in fact Moho can not only make animation with bones, it also can do with points. For that commercial I think most of the animation was using points, not relying on bones. I know some animation studios in North Korea work in a similar way. Use bones is really convenient, but if just use bones to make animation, I think it's the same as Adobe Character Animator.
@t-man5323

@@MoeU33Hailey Thanks you so much for your reply. It makes sense. i can now see that some of the animation looks like points, but the head turns of the mother character and the teacher looked to me like bones. Nevertheless it would be cool to see how YOU would approach shading a character "anime" style, with turns, with your rigging knowledge. Thanks again for the tutorials.
