He’s the defensive mid fielder we needed since Kante, he’s not there for flare or to shine, he’s there to do the dirty work and he’s very good at doing that, and then those key breaking passes he makes ??? He’s worth what we paid for him !!

His first few games for Chelsea he was unfit because he came late and did not train with the squad...but definitely our most consistent player in the second half of the season. He is almost as good as Kante in tackling and interceptions, almost as good as Obi Mikel in retaining/holding the ball and almost as good as Fabregas in delivering the right pass. He has a combination of a bit of everyone one of those greats.

Clean but harsh tackler unlike kante the silent ball stealer . Suprisingly ceicedo is much better in creating the chances than gallagher . Our club always wrong when buying striker but when it came to defensive player position like CB , RB , LB or DM , we always found the gem. Our past showed it

I respect your comment. But it is unfair to say that Caicedo, Moisés Caicedo is Kante. Nothing to see. Moisés Caicedo is Chelsea's best player. He is versatile, he defends, he organizes the midfield and feeds forwards with balls that should not miss. As an Ecuadorian, I am very happy that the Chelsea fans and the English press who criticized MOI are today surrendered to its quality, to its magic. Chelsea urgently needs effective strikers.

Love him, he’s good on and off the ball, although can get too clumsy sometimes for a player in his position. Shows in the no of yellow he’s received this season but he’ll def be a very important player for Chelsea for many years

He's only 21 and only the top three teams wanted him at the time. MOI wanted to leave BRIGHTON for ARSENAL for 60 mil and SEAGULLS denied transfer for the future historic price tag CHELSEA. If Chelsea had a good forward Caicedo would have had like 10 assists in his last two games. Boy was putting beautiful thru passes but Jackson mainly could not finish ! Caicedo will get better next season can’t wait

enzo cant tackle or have speed to track back he is terrible player. when he plays as a 8 he never passes forward or goes into the box. gallagher is way better than him

@@JackPaul-vs3bqmy comment was in general. I am aware of Kantes ability. 2 things he was a smaller quicker man and ball recovery and play destroying was his main abilities. Caicedo is a different player. He is very adept at poaching but that is just one facet and not even the main one of his game. He is first and foremost a playmaker and distributor. His ball stealing is meant to happen up field. Imagine a KDB that plays defense. Chelsea wastes his ability.

Honestly speaking. That midfield trio of Enzo x Lavia x Caicedo will be something else in a year or two. All 3 are comfortable keeping the ball. Playing short and long passes. The front 3 will have a field day if the midfield allow the full backs to keep bombing forward and spamming crosses into the box.

There are no problems with Caicedo, the issue is only with Enzo who makes way too many touches, slows down the game, takes too long to make decisions, is completely unable to win back possession, and goes forward solely to avoid doing the dirty defensive work.

People forget Enzo played with injections and are saying scrub Gallagher is better than. Most of our players are technically good except for Gallagher. If you want to control the ball and dominate games, you need Enzo and not Gallagher.

If you actually take the time to watch Chelsea's games, it is obvious how stupidly good he is. He is more a box 2 box midfielder I think, but still more on the defensive side. I actually think a FLAT 3 of him Lavia and Enzo OR him, Gallagher and Lavia will work. I do not see him working in a mid 3 of him, Enzo and Gallagher.
