My favourite thing about the movie was how they told many speedster problems jokes without coming off as bland or unoriginal. As a person who's seen a lot of iterations of the Flash, the jokes they told actually had me cackling at how original they were.

The Flash is definitely a movie about the Flash. It has the Flash doing Flash things in a flashy fashion. Too bad they don't have the budget to make the movie using Adobe Flash

Michael Keaton is the best part of this movie, he was so fucking cool and had so much charisma and fan service behind him that every time he was on screen you can’t help but smile. I can’t stress enough how much better Michael Keaton made this movie

I can agree about some parts of the film being pretty bad in the CGI department, but they really did well with the flash's movement. And the ending I feel was more of a nod towards what happens in the comics when barry creates flashpoint and then comes back to a new reality when he fixes it, which I believe is what's called the new 52.

I haven't laughed this much in a superhero movie in a while. Regardless of Ezra's history, his performance was fantastic, and that scene with him yelling at his other self was great. Supergirl was also the best part of the movie

When Ezra Miller said it s time to Flash my way into several felonies I almost shed a tear.

The Flash story is actually extremely good. The fact that the only thing he wants in this world (save his mom) is in his grasp but he has a choice to make. Either the world or his mom. The irony is, his world is his mom. So you have this character who is in a position and only him who is capable having to choose between the two. Then after choosing wrong has to undo it and finally let go accepting the fate. This story actually has punishment and cant be a two win scenario like we see in marvel. Which adds a seriousness and more emotional enjoyment in the stories.

the cgi wasn't perfect but I honestly feel like it didn't matter too much because there were some times when it still looked good enough and it had a really good emotional story that felt like a nearly perfect superhero movie if that makes sense

Halfway through this video and I'm realizing that Charlie clearly has never heard of the Flashpoint Paradox, which this movie was closely based off of. Superman's role in that story was equally as small as Supergirl's in this, if not smaller.

The way they did the speed force was the best and coolest interpretation I have ever seen man. Hope it’s used again and even if it’s not, it makes it more special. Just sad that it had to be used on ezra miller. But for the character of the flash, it was a great movie.

I loved when The Flash said, “it’s runnin time” and Ezra Miller ran away from all those cops.

The CGI was pretty much the only issue I had, but I imagine with the two Barry’s on screen possibly and the use of CGI for whenever Barry runs or uses his powers in any capacity their budget for it was probably pretty stretched thin.

Honestly, there's times where the CGI kinda falls off but the biggest downside for me in this film is how Barry runs. Sure, he runs like that because of some scientific explanation but it would've been cool if he actually ran like how CW Flash runs. It gives him the look that, "he's indeed fast" instead of looking like he's floating in the air.

I completely lost my shit at the part where when the microwave was opened, what you see is a CGI baby that just got microwaved into the PS3 era.

No idea how Ezra Miller still hasn't experienced any repercussions from all the assault and shit they did.

With all the characters getting different actors for alternate versions of themselves, they couldn't get a different Flash and instead had to make him play two characters.

The movie was filmed before Ezra’s reign of terror so it makes sense to me why they still released it with Ezra in it due to the fact that they can’t exactly just reshoot an entire 200M dollar movie. However, if they make a sequel with Ezra after the fact that is completely different due to the fact that it is AFTER the fact. They were put in a corner with this one, but there is no excuse if they keep Ezra for the sequel.

I think the "Idea" of this Supergirl was way better. Sasha Calle did a really good job with what she had to work with... but she doesn't get enough. She was my favourite side character in the movie. She was cool, the outfit was cool, but there wasn't enough to make her "good"

no one is talking about the fact that we don't know who murdered barry's mom and that was supposed to be reverse flash who inevitably leads barry to the events of flashpoint

My dad, a 58 year old man who knows very little about either DC or Marvel's cinematic universes, went with me to see the Flash. Overall we both thought it was a decent film with similar thoughts on the CGI quality, he brought up a really good question during the film though. "This movie is about the Flash right...? Why are they focusing so much on Batman and other heroes?" And it kind of dawned on me, studios are hyper-focused on "multiverses" so much now that rather than going the original MCU route, each protagonist getting their respective movies while slowly phasing them into a larger film together, they'd rather just mesh them all hastily while maintaining minor similarities to the original content they're based off of. The content machine is so focused on the profit and pushing out as many movies as possible that the overall quality of each film is going down and after that revelation mid-film the rest of it felt a little bittersweet... I did like the final Batman easter egg though so 7/10
