Yes and no, just cause you asked someone to shoot you does not excuse the shooter of charges. Instead their sentence can be decreased or lessened if they were provoked depending on the situation and/or judge and ofc ur legal team. If you hit someone first as long as they were not threatening your life and you had other choices, you are still liable. It would can be argued as self defense if you felt your life was threatened

That isn't how the law works tho. The person throwing the punch is still an adult and should know not to make such a decision

@@thereverseeffect7269 Nope, not in Canada, as far as I’m aware. It’s not assault if both parties exclaim that they will fight. For it to be assault, one person has to be the victim of another and be unknowing or unwilling to participate in the confrontation. If two people fight it out, they can get in trouble for other reasons, but one cannot try to pin the other for assault, since there’s evidence that they were verbally requesting a fight.
