UPDATE: I gat a bunch of comments asking for a world download, so Ill see if I can get a tutorial, download, scematica, and litematica. Ive never done this before, so it might take time. =P The tutorial vid should be out in the next few days. =)

Hey man, if it's gonna take a while for a litematica schematic, a world download would be much appreciated. Shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to set up a public file download on google drive.

OMG! Thank you so much for spending time looking into this! Hopefully, it seems like something that can get retrofit into older raid farm designs and shouldn't be too difficult to do.

I mean pillager farms already exist as xp farm, so just need to add a box loader over there and a box unloader over here with some kind of observer pressure plate thingy and it can be AFKed for a long time

Pillager outposts work off of bounding boxes, and so IF you can manage to remove all areas within the bounding box, you can create a multi level platform for spawning, similar to a creeper farm. Have areas for pillagers to drop through as they pathfind around the platform and collect their drops. Then just have an AFK platform within it and let it run. Further (harder) the drop area could lead to a mob blender using tridents so the XP is collectable.

Should have waited until the version was completely out to release this, i remember when they were attempting to patch one farm, people would come out with a new method early and the next snapshot it would be broken

Really good work, i like it a lot but can you do this for ianxofour's design? Im trying for a few hours but i couldn't do it, i think they are not stacking or my memory is are saying this is too slow its not working .( i will miss the old farms

I have a genius idea . I hope you see this and it is , you make your farm and count when you have only 1 or 10 bottles remaining to not make it to close and you build a clock and a dropper to throw you bad omen bottles so it keeps it in your off hand in this way you can keep until you run completely out of bottles .

ironic: the ominous bottles were supposed to nerf raid farms: this concept however may have a) fixed stacking raid farms b) possibly given even more witch drops than before if the pillagers from the raids drop the ominous bottles then that in theory could keep the player supplied with the ominous potions for “afking”

This is still a pretty good nerf with the 30 sec cool down. This definitely fixes the afk-ability of raid farms but I think it’s still an effective nerf for rates.

why in 4:20 the example have 2 redstone dust, but when you come back up before the fall just have 1 redstone dust?, cuz i tried that example and doesn't even works

lol I never saw that myself, but the way Redstone works, is it will "Connect" to certain blocks, such as Redstone blocks, target blocks, and many other blocks, but as the blocks are moved, the Redstone will go back to its original state. Somehow it managed to change into a straight Redstone dust and was hidden behind the piston. Nice observation though, As for why the example didnt work, Im not entirely sure, it could just be a block missing or smth

The only good thing I see is on a server with friends while I am wating a can just farm multiple bottles and then do the raids all together with friends. Sadly it kind of kills the stacking raid farms which was one of my fav farms to build in end game :(

I really wish Mojang just wouldn’t change things like this. Your average player is going to build a raid farm, and even if they do that’s their choice. No clue why they care

They didn't necessarily ruin it on purpose, they changed it to add as a feature within the new content which is the trial chambwrs, but yeah I wish they didn't change it

@@txt_enjoyer don’t get me wrong, I get how a game breaking farm like this can be overpowered, but it’s balanced by the fact that no one is going to build it. They could’ve left it so that killing pillager captains gave you the effect and another type drops bottles. It was an intentional nerf to these farms for sure

Microsoft controls the administrative side but mojang is still responsible for the bulk of the code, the only difference they have now is that they have to answer to another entity before they submit something

I don't get the type of people that suggest unnecessary nerfs to make the game unnecessarily harder. No one's stopping you from not using totems in hardcore, have you ever heard of self-imposing challenges instead of trying to impose them on everyone? This video is barely even related to this, but you just had to come in with your take.

The reason why people don't like things isn't because they want to use it, it's because it shouldn't exist as it is right now. Likle mending, it shoulld be changed

No one want to see someone never dying in a world because they have infinite totem, that is not a good balancing decision for the game. I hope you are not the type of people to say "well I don't want to die in my hardcor3 world" wich would be the cherry on top
