The BJP and its ally in Maharashtra, the Nationalist Congress Party, seem to have hit a rocky road after their rivals, the INDIA alliance, won more Lok Sabha seats in the state. The two parties on Thursday engaged in a war of words over an article in Organiser ( weekly known to be close to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.) The article had criticised the BJP for contesting the elections along with Ajit Pawar's NCP. A senior RSS leader questioned the BJP's move to enter an alliance with the Ajit Pawar-led NCP, terming the move "ill-advised".

BJP should have a bottom up.approach addressing core issues of people . Trying a helicopter approach expecting Modi to sweep over the issues will not work . Modi roadshows will not gloss over local inefficiencies.

There are 20% Muslim voters so the Congress has a vote share of 21 %. Mamta ji will never join the alliance with Congress and CPM. Congress has 9 MPs in TN but does not even have 100 congress workers in TN. In UP, Rae Bareli, there are 6 assembly segments. 4 SP -MLAs, 1 Congress MLA and 1 BJP MLA. Rahul Gandhi won with SP votes. Thus, in UP, Congress won on SP votes. There are no credible congress leaders in UP. Rajasthan- seats, are won by Sachin Pilot who was almost thrown away by Rahul, in support of Ashok Gehlot. Congress has no vote base other than Muslims.

Totally Wrong Analysis Maharashtra Congress gets Marathi+ Kunbi+ Dalit votes It over exceedingly done well in direct fight vs BJP in Vidarbha which barely has any Shivsena or NCP lol It won 6 seats there In UP, due to INC in Alliance did SP get Dalit Vote of BSP. In Rajasthan It was Jat belt and Meenas who voted INC not Gurjars (Pilot caste) Pilot 's Gurjars and Gehlot's Maalis both vote BJP in Rajasthan INC gets Jat+Meghwal+ Dalit+Tribal votes lol And Also In Rajasthan Rajput vote too shifted Only in Kota did Gurjar vote shifted due to Prahlad Gunjal (Vasundhra Aide) fighting vs BJP's Speaker Om Birla who won barely by 42000

UDDHAV SENA DID NOT SUCCEED AS YOU SAY . THEY GOT JUST 1 SEAT MORE THAN SHINDE SENA MUSLIN VOTES MADE UBT SENA SUCCEED NARROWLY IN 2 MUMBAI SEATS. SHINDE SENA CONTESTED 16 SEATS AS COMPARED TO 21 BY UDDHAV SENA BUT SHINDE SENA POLLED MORE % OF VOTES THAN UBT SENA. MARATHIS VOTED FOR SHINDE SENA MORE THAN UBT SENA

Tehseen is a courtier politician and has no real connect with Maharashtra's ground level politics. The true reason why the Congress could do well in Maharashtra was due to the fighting spirit shown by Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray even after their parties were robbed by the BJP. This built a narrative among Maharashtra voters that the legacy of Maharashtra's two tallest leaders, Sharad Pawar and late Balasaheb Thackeray, was destroyed by the BJP whereas at the same time no local Congress leader on ground was ready to take the BJP head-on. It was only after Mr. Pawar and Mr. Uddhav Thackeray stood firm against the BJP, there was consolidation of anti BJP votes in favour of the MVA and ultimately benefited the Congress.

This discussion is not taking us nowhere, in fact it goes against any good that has been achieved through this election. The MVA is one of the best things that has happened in Maharashtra - it truly represents the complexity of India and a lesson to live and work together despite differences. Muslims have voted for UBT Shiv Sena and that is a result of a different and welcome politics followed by Uddhav in recent times. Let us not conjecture who may join NDA- such a counterproductive discussion with no basis whatsoever
