what an amazing woman and person she is. This is the kind of woman the media should be talking about and promoting and not those useless and meaning lesbollywood actresses. She said," my life only has a meaning if I can reduce the suffering" and I honestly think this should be the mantra for everyone. She has conducted herself as the most honest and with high integrity. a very rare human in politics , anywhere in the world. I salute her and bow to her with my sincere respect.

I am an unabashed BJP follower, and when Varun was not named as a candidate, I must say I was surprised and a bit hurt. However, he is a brilliant young man who will make a name for himself soon. 'rahul gandhi can't evolve brain by walking'; Maneka Gandhi's statement reflects a prejudice mind, Bharat jodo yatra was not aout brain exercise. Its an irony that a lady known for her compassion of the stray animals is so unkind to her own nephew, although she claims she has blocked out her past she still shows her hidden anger and sarcasm at her nephew's alleged pappu carricature.

Barkha asked the question like that. Menaka Gandhi only told that Rahul and Priyanka has not evolved, which is true. Then Barkha asked "Bharat Jodo yatra?" Meaning whether Rahul has not evolved by the yatra, so she answered like that.

It does, because it wasn’t just walking. It was walking to understand people in remote ignored parts of India and bringing their issues to the table. It was also about raising awareness and showing that good politicians are still around!!!

After Sanjay Ji's death, Indira Ji wanted her son Rajiv Ji to leave his job at Air India and enter politics. Pariwarwad has been in Congress forever. Sonia initially opposed this, seeking assurance from Indira Ji that only Rajiv Ji, not Sanjay's widow Maneka Gandhi, would lead the Congress party next. Under pressure from Sonia Madam (and to please Sonia Ji), Indira Ji expelled Maneka Ji and her 3-month-old son from the house. Sonia Madam acted ruthlessly and shrewdly because she knew joining politics would bring power and a lot of money. Sonia Ji, today, wants to hand over the party to her son (and not to the most qualified leader of the Congress Party) because parivarwad is more important than India.

Her name is Maneka, pronounced as MAHNihKAH (Manika) and not Menaka (Meh na kah). Similarly Sonia Gandhi’s name is pronounced as Sonya (Italian version) and not as Soneeyaa (desi style pronunciation).

Maneka Gandhi talks like she's a victim but she's given a world of grief to people particularly Sonia, Rajiv, and Indira. She should have left the house of her own accord. But she WANTED drama and victimhood. Of course she was young then, so can be dismissed as immature. And she still hasn't changed. She's sarcastic, toxic, and bitter. Rajiv was such a gentleman and Sonia a perfectly dignified woman.

RaGa in the public meetings openly hugs & kisses his mom Sonia and sister Priyanka Wadhra-as if people would take him as a romantic hero and vote for him in large numbers. And Priyanka always talks of her father Rajiv “Gandhi” & grandmother Indira “Gandhi” as if the two are coming back to rule the country. She & her brother have no merits to rely upon, that’s why.
