I thought that ciro will escape the bitch, but killing him helps to deliver the massage better. You can't escape from this life, the end of the series is the ebd for every criminal. No one can live forever especially in hell.

This Italian masterpiece had certainly knocked Hollywood out. The characterization of betrayal over love, brotherhood and friendship was phenomenal. The gradual transformation of innocence into evil was magnificent. Last but not least, fallen victims during this series is a true reminder of the cruelty of this life. Hats off! I agree this show is an all time great. it should have gotten a big push in USA. If not for Netflix I would never have heard of it. Never knew why Netflix never aired Seasons 3 thru 5. Thanks for HBO Max for picking it up.

As an italian I’m so pleased to read all these beautiful comments from people all over the world who loved the show. But please don’t “idealize” what you see or any of the characters. Even the one you love the most is still a criminal. And, unfortunately, Camorra and Mafia is not just a thing screenplayed for TV, but it’s a real thing: it’s alive, it takes away the lives of hundreds people. Some of what you see in Gomorra is based upon real events. And that’s why many scenes got me to tears when I thought what I was seeing could possibly happen, or happened.

Brock Lesnar actually Gomorra’s representation is very hyperbolic. The reality is not that violent and explicit as portrayed in Gomorra. I’ve been for 10 days in Scampia, and of course is not Bel Air, but is not as portrayed in Gomorra.

@@andrealeonti2967 Non so quanti anni hai tu, sicuramente alcuni aspetti sono un po' gonfiati nella serie, ma Scampia è già anni che non è più così. Ma la serie rappresenta (almeno le prime stagioni) la Scampia e la Camorra di almeno 15-20 anni prima. A partire dalla famosa Faida di Scampia, l'ultima diciamo, che ha reso questo quartiere tristemente famoso in tutta Italia, con una settantina di morti in pochi mesi, ed erano i primi 2000. Da lì in poi Scampia e Secondigliano sono cambiati parecchio.

Sitting in traffic in London has never been the same since season one and i got the CD when a Vespa goes past im all paranoid. Then after waiting for ages for season three Malammore is driving same car i have and he gets shot in the first 20 minutes of show. This show is the best television in two decades since Sopranos started. Naples now in my heart forever. "Tutto aposto da Londra Scotzia! Forza Napoli!

io ci vedo di più, non è racchiusa solo gomorra, Napoli, in questo pezzo e nella serie c'è molto di più, c'è il disagio di un paese, di generazioni perse per sempre, di un popolo che non è libero, che ancora non riesce ad immaginare quanto esteso sia il marcio, quanto anche nelle nostre case, nelle nostre menti e i nostri cuori, siamo devianti e sconfitti. La poca consapevolezza è un male, l'arrendersi è una conseguenza. Non è l'Italia che si merita qualcosa di meglio, sono gli esseri umani che ci vivono che si meritano qualcosa di più, per il semplice fatto di essere umani.

Ascolto questo con nostalgia, e ascolto questo pensando a una persona carissima che con il suo affetto mi ha fatto capire che merito di meglio che farmi il carcere, spero che tutti quanti abbiate questa fortuna fortuna ve lo auguro. Da animale ora sono di nuovo persona con 1000 difficoltà che ho incontrato ma ancora vivo, i soldi E il potere riempono le tasche. Ma il cuore no. Detto questo quella banconota ti serve per vivere e chi dice il contrario evidentemente è coglione.

I am blown away by the raw grittiness and reality of this show ...... I have watched BB, The Wire etc but this is head and shoulders above. Hats off to the Italian film industry. Suburra, which is filmed in Rome, similar theme, is also highly recommended.

Para mí......la mejor serie europea.....mínimo de la última década.....pero nunca lo hubiera conseguido sin esta bso que es absolutamente sublime

Leggere i commenti e vedere quanti stranieri seguono la serie non puo far che piacere. È una cosa che mi ha colpito, non mi aspettavo così tanto seguito anche all'estero. Con la speranza che tutte queste persone sappiano e capiscano che Napoli in particolare e il sud e l'italia tutta in generale non sono solo cose brutte. Anzi, sono per lo piu cose belle, meravigliose.

Everything about this TV show is so profound including the music. Especially during this world scam the characters of Gomorrah seem all the more natural and human. Great clip by the way and Grazie!

Cannot believe it's all come to an end. Also ending with this song was perfect & very fitting to the situation they were in. Back to Episode 1 Series 1 I guess & start again.
