finally someone on KZfaq does a DIY project with DIY tools, working outdoor and not in a fancy workshop with tools that cost $15,000, and gets to a reasonable result without setting the bar impossibly too high for us weekend woodworkers :P

Hand planer like that is a make do solution. You would still end up with uneven wood. It just cleans off that top layer.

To keep your slabs flat alternate your clamps top and bottom give even pull to each side

Why the choice for dowels instead of dominos or lamellos? Just curious. I’m not saying it is a bad idea. Because these walnut slabs are quite big, I (automatically) would take dominos. Very nice job, as always!

그린우르 옻 바니쉬를 1회 충분히 도포한 후 나무가 뱉어내는 잔유를 틈틈이 닦아내라고 했습니다 나중에 상황봐서 상도를 할까 생각중입니다 보통 저는 1회만으로 마무리합니다

나비장(bowtie) 이라고 합니다. 저는 밴드쏘로 댜충 모양을 만들고 끌로 다듬어서 마무리합니다. 유튜브 검색해 보시면 제작영상 많이 있을 것 같습니다.

It´s facinating the way how the rustic wood turn into a flat and smooth table, I love all the process, from choose the right wood, cleaning up, join it with glue, cut it, paint it and finally to ensamble! the owner of that desk must to be really happy.

크랙에 메꾸는 건 레진입니다. 투명 레진을 주제와 경화제 2 대 1로 섞어서 사용했습니다. 일단 옻 바니쉬를 사용했구요, 1회 충분히 바르고 깨끗이 닦아냈습니다. 멀리 보낸 게 아니라서 시간이 지나면서 상황을 봐 가며 상도를 하든 말든 결정할 생각입니다.
