Moss has the better typing defensively and mold has the better typing offensively, so based on the typing I’d say moss because it also works offensively with coverage moves such as cone of cold

@@dogbot-zo2ee Mold is better defensively and offensively first of all it has the same amount of weaknesses as Moss however Moss is quad weak to one of the typings which is Toxic one of Molds typings and for resists Mold actually has higher being 8 it does not quad resist anything, Moss only quad resists one of its 6 resists one of which being Water however it doesn't matter because Mold still resists more than Moss and if you count quad resist as 2 resists it still counts up to a total of 7 resists compared to Molds 8. And for offensively Mold has more coverage with Night night and Goo blast supper effective against Plant and Mind meanwhile Moss only has Cone of cold. Also Mold has a higher base Magical atack stat than Moss however Moss has more HP but Mold is still more defensive because of its type. Therefore Mold is better offensively and deffensively.

Mold has a better offensive typing. Poison doesn’t hit earth, but water does.Water doesn’t hit plant, but poison does. And you could even use rain so that you could outspeed everything with ease. And for what it can’t hit, it now can with its coverage. There definitely is a place where you could defensive mold thanks to its stats, however offensive deals more damage
