Moldova has chosen their song for Eurovision 2024!!
Natalia Barbu will represent his country with the song 'In The Middle'
After a national final with an audition round and 10 finalists, Natalia Barbu won the jury vote and came second with the televote which was enough to become Moldova's Eurovision entry!
Let's take a listen to and get a feeling for how it sounds!

New staging is required, of course, but Moldova knows how to bring a show to ESC. The vibe of the song is folky in a cool way - I want this in the final.

I guess I will like it much more once it is on the big stage in Malmö. The bad quality in this national final really holds it back. But I see great potential here.

The NF performance is okay, but just listening to the studio version with much better mixing and thinking about the stage in Malmo gives me a good feeling about Moldova’s chances this year

Not sure about this one! A lot of people aren't liking the staging. Valeria Pasha, the runner up, who competed with 'Anti-Princess' written by Pasha Parfeni in fresh news has just sent an appeal to look into how the process occurred, officially contesting the results of the selection! This is because she believes the contestants were unfairly not told about how the system would work especially regarding the tiebreaker with the juries picking! If you didn't know Barbu and Pasha were both tied on 22 points, Barbu getting 12 from juries, whilst Pasha got 12 from the televote. She also argues she got almost double the number of votes as Barbu!

Indeed, the song singed by Valeria Pașa Bratu was better and Valeria had a good live performance.

Yeah the jury being the tiebreaker was a little strange
