Trzęślica / Molinia is another type of grass that we grow in our nursery. They are less popular than miscanthus, rozplenic or millet. It is a pity, because they fill the possibilities that are in vain to look for in other grasses.

Molinie / trzęślice are native grasses that appear naturally in Poland. This is already a sign that they are suitable for our climate and can also be grown successfully in containers. Their characteristic feature are longer or shorter flower shoots, which, depending on the variety, take on interesting colors in late autumn. In season, they are usually green, unobtrusive.
Requirements:
- average humidity (they do not like to be dry and the effects will be visible on the leaves)
- moderate fertilization (as with all grasses, it is fertilized once a year in the spring. It can be natural fertilizer, such as manure, compost, mulch or mineral fertilizer, but be careful with the proportions not to salt the soil).
- the best position is sunny or light partial shade (very upright or smaller spherical varieties will do well in partial shade). The partial shade gives the shoots laxity, which I described and showed in the video.
- 100% frost resistance (reaches above -30 ° C)
