The first couple of notes made me cry. I used to sing this in solitary confinement and every time I was on the side of some road somewhere. I was so lost, but now I'm found.

I'm 68 years old and i'm just weeping. A beautiful song presented in the most poignant way. It is so hard to get past the idea that some of us are so heartless and self-absorbed. There's enough if we will just come together and care for each other. Thank you for putting this out for us.

I wept when Molly first released this. It inspired me to give to Why Hunger. That, and local food shelves and soup kitchens now nearly all my giving. It has gotten worse, not better, since 2020. And I still weep. I have a few years on you; it is good us old folks can feel empathy and appreciate Molly's efforts and talents.

@@mattpeer8537 I don't know if you read the second comment, but I find that Molly and Billy strings among others are pulling me into a greater awareness of the world of bluegrass and how freaking amazing it can be because as wide a knowledge as I have of musical genres I was just being oblivious to the genre and to the players prior to them. Amazing young musicians make me happy and excited for the future of music again!

I work for the government ( I know what you are thinking but wait). We keep water flowing, sewers draining, and rainwater emptying. No one notices, no one cares about our families. They just expect water. First responders are hero’s but only save one. Think about the thousands if we weren’t there every day. Not done for credit, all done because it’s needed. Beautiful song. Thanks.

I was 1 of the 6 growing up. There were times our cupboards had but one can of food or nothing at all. My Mom took no help, no food stamps, nothing. While she worked for tips. Pride is not a good thing in the long scheme we are at odds with.

This is really relevant today. We all thought it was crazy bad 2 years ago. Today everyone should be terrified. Learn to make your own food as much as you can. Instead of gorilla gardening for weed in the old days now we need to plant veggies in the bush. Love your sound Molly.

What a beautiful song for these trying times and your heartfelt message on the impact of those most at risk is much needed. I had the opportunity to see you at the Winnipeg Folk Festival in 2019 across the multiple stages and workshops. Would love to see you back again once we are through this current challenge. Cool version of Neil's Helpless. I like all the messaging. Feeding the world in coming years and decades is really going to be something. Perhaps a magic show of some kind? This is an important message for all of us to take seriously. However, there are many new studies, methods and technologies to increase agriculture quality and production going on now, it gives me hope for the future. If you are looking for something to do or fill a void in your life, volunteer at a local vegetable or produce stand or farm today. Another topic that really needs help and support is to STOP factory farming.
