Dang! Spot on!!! Aquarius moon and when I was six we moved from the suburbs (where I had friends) to the country/woods where I was over a mile from anyone my age. I grew up w/o religion (mother was agnostic) and delved into nature and herbalism. Didn’t fit in at grade school. By high school punk rock was in, so being odd worked for me. By 16 I found my “group” (several cities away) via a theater seminar which I could relate to. Also found Wicca which (nearly 40 years later) I still practice. The term “you can pick your friends but you can’t pick your family” was so true for me. They feel closer to me than blood. They truly get me. Thank you so much for this! ❤

@@relishjane hello friend! i certainly relate. for my experience, i had 2 mother figures- which seems to represent the duality of gemini. my biological mother, and my dads mother (grandma) were the two in my life. my mom has shown me true divine love- whereas my grandma was far removed from her ability to love/nurture. i spent half of my childhood living with my mom and the other half with my grandma. it was a hard process going from my mothers love to absence of it from my grandma. i certainly relate, my grandma was highly anxious which caused me a lot of fear. but from one over-thinker to another, a gentle reminder that other peoples emotions are not our responsibility. i'm sorry you didn't receive the nurturing you deserved as a child, and i hope you're able to give it to yourself now 🤍 sending you love and light!

Me too on moon in Scorpio. Mom was a Leo sun and she ruled the roost and could be very nasty and controlling, as well as some mental issues; spent a major part of my life trying to figure her out and ask her questions about her past that led me nowhere! She was very locked up and sterile with her emotions. Years later we got along better because I bit my tongue to get along with her and no longer lived at home ; in my60s now. What a journey, thought everything was my fault due to me being the scapegoat! Feeling free now and have more understanding of myself.

I identify more with the description of the Scorpio Moon than Virgo. My Moon is conjunct Pluto at the anaretic degree point. Although I can say I internalize the organization of & management of my feelings. That part fit. I also am tuned into my body & into daily routines. Moon in Capricorn. Absolutely. It feels as if i was the parent of my mother (leo moon) she was very immature (still is tbh) and didn't know how to manage her emotions. She was always asking me for advice!! I was indeed a young entrepreneur at 11!! 😂 everything you said is precise. Every single day, i feel i must be productive, and i feel bad when i 'have fun.'

I'm a cancer moon. My mom was a severe alcoholic. She stopped drinking 20 years ago but she is still very ill in many ways. She lies alot and takes responsibility for what is comfortable for her but I think it hurts her too much to take full responsibility and she is very immature on so many levels. Lol I love her anyway. I forgive her and she frustrates me but I know she is part of my life journey and I know she had her own wounds that caused her alcoholism (lost her father at 14 and her mother at 22) She had 4 daughters and husband that liked to play outside the home more than be her husband. We all suffer. Compassion is all I have for her now. ❤

Jeez, so much trash on Leo moons. Maybe if you cared and showed it from a heart centered place the Leo moons wouldn’t be so “challenging” to deal with. I'm both a Sagittarius Sun and Moon in the 6th house so I have tended to be at odds with myself when I'm too stretched. I'm also a Cancer rising. The moon is very influential for me as a healer and poet. I'm a deep person who loves experiences for sure! My partner is always saying I ask so many questions and I know it's because I have a feverish curiousity. I have a high drive and energy for my health and well-being and that of others. I'm a natural caregiver and nurturer. I've been aware of my own astrology since I was very young so I've been practicing observing myself through this lens for years. I always appreciate your insights Molly! In this video what stands out to me is the commentary on the mother link. For me personally, my mother always spoke about how wanted I was and how amazing my birth was because I was born en caul which is said to be a sign of a healer/mystic and possess magical or spiritual abilities. That definitely describes me ✨

The house placement is also extremely important. I have a Gemini moon. Although I can relate to a lot the energy is elusive in the 12th. I'm not always ready to go or on the go. On the contrary. I've learnt to observe myself and make the most of the time that the energy is available.

I have moon in Capricorn in 12th house. I relate more to the description of moon in pisces. Some of the Capricorn moon traits are there, but my childhood was very difficult. I had a love/hate relationship with my mother. I felt everything deeply and was very intuitive. Emotionally neglected and extremely lonely. She died when I was 12 and I felt nothing. I am much older now and have done much work on myself. Pluto has transited almost my entire chart placements. He is now in my rising and Mars in Aquarius. Not even worried about it cuz at this point I AM Pluto 😅😅

You try having my Chart & Solar Ruling Moon in Aquarius. It's the most ph.qd position. Mutha abandoned me before l was born, she consumated her marriage to not her betrothed. She was to consumate the marriage to my _alleged_ father; being the sperm donor. _That_ man, the opportunist non-husband, was less than 2" from me for probably 2 minutes. She hated me. She became a SMEO (Sex Money Exchange Operative) for my schooling life. She never once came to my school for anything. Not even when l was bashed and taken to hospital. I just remember her by the amount of abortions she had. A big risk in her job. On the odd occasion she displayed affection l recoiled in horror knowing what she did for a job. Witnessing fellatio aged 8 is pretty traumatic. But l had all the bashings to contend with as well. My lunch consisted of what other kids didn't eat as Australian schools never did lunches. I definitely ate my share of crusts. I never went to her funeral. And women hate me or, more particularly, avoid me like the plague. My broken heart is killing me. I'm so needy but I'll die soon so it doesn't matter And I write this before l listened to the Aqua Moon. Pisces moons are empathic and pick up on other peoples emotions even when they are not talking about their feelings. Water moons can read the room easily it's a gift.

Capricorn 12th H, a few degree from my ASC, conjunct Neptune and Uranus. I find it interesting that my daughter’s moon is Aries 7th H and my Son is Gemini 5th H. It’s interesting that that’s how they view me. My Venus is in Aries 3rd H so maybe that’s the way I love them…

I'm so frustrated because I cannot find out what time I was born. It is not on my birth certificate so I contacted the viral records office in my state and they said it was never recorded. How does someone move forward? I'm so interested in astrology and I listen to you Molly every month. 😢

Yes I understand your frustration. I’m also unclear if my birth time. I also wonder how astrology was done before clocks existed. Astrology is ancient but how did they calculate everything without knowing the time of birth?

If I'm not wrong I believe it's called horary astrology... I could be wrong but it's where they match up significant points in your life to determine your ascendant etc.

If I may suggest, look up chart rectification and research trusted astrologers who perform this work. I believe they utilize a series of questions, events, etc. to try and narrow down a time frame of birth. Once you have this, it could be helpful to get a few different chart readings from astrologers that utilize different house systems (whole house vs. placidus, so on). You may find that one resonates more than the other. And you'll probably find something from both that resonates. Best of luck!
