The official HD video for Moloko - The Time Is Now, (C) 2000 The Echo Label Limited, a BMG Company
"Time Is Now" was the lead-off single from Moloko's third LP "Things To Make And Do". Released in March 2000 it hit number 2 in the UK singles chart. It was nominated for Best British Video and Single at the 2001 Brit Awards. The track also features in Grand Theft Auto V (Non Stop Pop Channel) and was used extensively on Sky Sports' 2004 English Premier League football coverage.

This was the first CD single that my first boyf/first love, ever bought me in the Spring of 2000. I was 17 at the the time, then I blinked and I was 39 - the time really is NOW, it's all we have. This still sounds like it was released just yesterday, a classic, elegant piece, beautifully timeless, then and now...♡

IMO, this song is Moloko's masterpiece . Those 4 little piano notes starting after the middle of the song and running softly to the end are totally modifying the mood making it melancholic . It's pure genius .

This bass player, like the one in the Bulgarian group Ревю or Revu doing Zakuska, is really great. It is so nice to see other bass players who actually play the instrument as opposed to just slapping and popping the thing like a four to six string drum set. I have played bass for decades and this guy sounds excellent to me. The whole band is excellent. Their music is timeless. I just heard about Moloko a couple years ago and just fell in love with their sound.

We have lost innovation Muslim created projector We made tv and cellphone But there is nothing new but just upgrades that's the problem If you see deeply, we have not created or invented something completely new in centuries. That's what hurting the human kind and leading us to disasters. Same with music We have limited vocabulary, limited emotions and we have tried all the combination, for example : 123 have combination of 123, 231, 312, 213, 321, 213 but that's it may be few more and over the centuries we have chosen the best combination due to our greed and we are out of options so we are just feeding our lust and greed nowadays.
