smoothcat if the ball get dusty just a simple warm water on the clothes to clean it. Someone told me about the method breaking in the ball faster, if u have access to saunas then take the inside the saunas with u for 10 to 15 mins then take ball to the basketball court play with it and repeat the step a few times. For me, I just using good ole playing time to break the ball in. Another thing you should expect is during the winter time, this ball does get slippery because it’s dry.

No. The color changes of the sweat and dirt. But it won’t turn super brown.

GL7 is the older color while gl7x has lighter color 😊😊

@@kjones7974I can tell gl7x is fake if: 1.) Its leather attached by adhesives and as it dribbles harder, they wear easily time by time. 2.) Deflates or the air is coming out easily. 3.) The molten's logo's color is a bit different compared to original ones.

Support TierGod LAS I am 💯 % agreed with you on that. In my opinion the old models is better than the new BG models. I mean new one look nice but feel and performance i think the old model is better.

where are you located? in the US or other country? I paid $110 for BG5000 and $95 for GL7x. I highly recommend you to buy it from Authorized Molten Retail Shop. Especially for the GL7x there are alot of fake ones out there.

Also the new model ball seems to get HEAVY after it’s broken in, unfortunately the broken in phase doesn’t last long at all. It feels really good for about a week and then the ball “dies”

🙌🏼 yeah bro, to me these balls feel weird, something is off about them. At first I thought maybe the balls are too new but even after broken in they still feel the same. I was hoping that it gonna get a lot nicer after broken in. Anyway best of luck with basketball career bro.

If u like softer feels basketball then gg7x but if u like all leather ball with good quality then the Wilson or Spalding NBA official game ball, skip the bg5000. But I highly suggest go in the store to get a good feel for those balls instead of ordering it online cuz u might not like them.

M I G I’m not sure how it performs because I don’t have one. BG 4000 is the same series as the 4500 and 5000 just different materials used to construct the ball. I don’t think bg4000 sold in the USA 🇺🇸. Anyhow, I personally don’t like this newer model molten basketballs. They’re kinda feel weird in hands and take more time to get used to the ball. If you get so used to the feel of the new molten then I don’t think you’re going to like this ball. But if you want to try this new ball anyway, buy it when it goes on sale don’t buy on regular price.

M I G TF-1000 legacy is pretty good ball. When it well broken in it’ll get better.

jydn yeah bro. It needs sweats and hardwood floor and time to break in nicely. But yeah I just appreciate the quality of the nba game ball. People who used to soft feels basketball like the Evolution they won’t like the nba ball. If you think about it this ball has been used in the nba for years and years by the best players in the world and they are not switching it for reason. Obviously something is unique about this ball that make them love using it. For me, I just like the quality and consistency of this ball.
