Watch what happens when I tell my mom she has a surprise coming in September.
What you don't know is that it took us 3 years to get pregnant. We thought we couldn't have kids the traditional way. That's why the reactions are the way they are. It was kind of an awesome moment we'll never forget! Hope it brings a smile to your face, and gives some of you, who are having trouble starting a family, some hope. Keep trying ;)

I think that you are putting way too much into this particular video. It's a video about someone telling their parents that they are having a baby. I don't think its fair for other people to assume that a couple doesn't know what they are getting themselves into when deciding on having a baby. Some do not but not all. I agree with you that people are recklessly pushing babies out without having a plan. I'm 3 months pregnant right now with my first child, in my 30's and I get the excitement and my husband and I have been very realistic, didn't rush into anything. This is not starting a dialogue. This is putting a thumbs down on a video without an explanation as to why. Starting a dialogue is taking the time out to write a comment. Me personally, I think it's a cop out and again if people don't want to see the video or think that people aren't being realistic either seriously start a dialogue regarding the subject or just don't again, go on youtube search and LOOK UP pregnancy announcement videos. It's really that simple. We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, but thanks for discussion :)

This is the only pregnancy announcement to grandparents video that I have seen where the grandparents hug one another first, in joy, before hugging their adult children. It really touched my heart to see this. I just loved this video. Thanks for sharing it.

This is honestly my favorite baby surprise video. First one ive seen where the parents hug each other and then group hug the kids. I mean honestly there is so much love in that family, its beyond words. Congratulations! So happy for you all! God Bless You!

Hey Connie! We tried for about 3 years, and it wasn't until we seriously started looking into adoption that my wife got pregnant. Guess our bodies work better when we aren't so stressed out. :) Good luck!

That is so sweet how happy your parents were to find out about your pregnancy. My mom was always upset and all worried when I told her that I was expecting. It is really sad that she could never share my happiness.
