I can't believe Claire's mother would betray her own daaughter like that by choose to side with her horrible second husband and step-son Ben as she should have known that those two are bullying Claire but her mother doesn't seen to be concern or care about Claire at all. Her mother should be very ashame of herself for what she had done to Claire and thanks to Claire's father who found her told his ex wife and her second family leave forever or Claire's father would have report this child neglaction to the police and have them arrested instead as punishment for what they deserved.

Christina probably paid those people to keep Jack away because she knew that if he found out about her abuse to Claire, she could lose everything to him and end up in jail. Plus, it didn't help that she was having an affair with her side guy(later husband), Mark, got knocked up and had a son in Ben. Christina knew what she was doing because she hated Jack for refusing to ignore Claire and wanted a son so badly. With Mark, she was finally able to get the boy she wanted so badly and get rid of Claire whom she saw as a burden to her. Mark and Christina as they're packing are surrounded by the cops. They are confronted by Jack's mom, Kimberly, who had known about the abuse of Claire and their affair that lead to Ben's birth. She tries to convince her ex-MIL that she only did it in order to have Ben inherit Jack's money. Kimberly doesn't believe Christina and points out she used to work as a private investigator. That she knew about her former DIL paying bad men to hold Jack hostage just so no one could find out her scheme. Unfortunately for Christina, Kimberly was alerted by the neighbors and with the evidence against her and Mark, they're going to be spending a lot of time in jail. Ben is sent to the home of a strict uncle who makes him endure life as Claire by abusing him on a daily basis and teaches him to respect others regardless of gender.

I think her former husband was being very GENEROUS to give them until the next morning to be out. I would have given them ONE HOUR to pack everything they own and be out and I would have started my stop watch that very second and if they went over even ONE MINUTE I would call the police to have them ESCORTED out.

A better ending should've had Jack arresting Christina and her new husband for their abusive nature to Claire. The brother gets sent to a strick relative who makes him endure life as his sister just so he can understand that his behavior was wrong.

It is so sad and devastating to see the young girl suffer so much without her father who got lost at war. Her stepfather proved to be a really vile and irresponsible person who showed no respect at all. The poor girl hoped that her younger brother would atleast support her during this heartbreaking situation but he also hurt her very badly by destroying her special toy. Her mother also broke her heart. It was a miracle and blessing that her biological dad came back to set things right.

I know why Christina never stood up for her daughter. She only wanted to have powerful people for herself who can protect or preserve her own skin. She thought that her daughter is not one of them. She also thought that power can only be gained or used from close people she scared of the most. She only married the stepfather because he was only good in bed or 'romantic' date. When she thought that the real father was gone, she only relied on the stepfather, because she thought that: - If he is cruel to her, then he has power, and she has to rely on his power to survive, even if she has to be mistreated by him, because she thought that powerful people are good people (might makes right) who can preserve her, and weak people are evil people who can only burden her. - If there are people who are weaker than her, then she will use them to protect herself from him, or appease him. - If her daughter can't be too evil, violent, or cruel enough to make her mother, stepfather, and stepmother fear her, then her daughter is so weak and worthless to be valued or depended on. The real father is actually the most powerful man of the story, not because of pathetic fake 'tough guy' persona or hypocritical brain, but because of his great heart and soul. He doesn't deserve his wife and her stepfamily who only wanted to think about their selfish egos.

From the thumbnail I can already tell where this is going. When you enter into someone's life and that person that you love has a child you should learn to care for that child as if they were your own kin the only way that they would consider you as a father figure is if you care for them and nurture them as if you were their own father or mother but if you don't treat them with respect and kindness they will shun you away and you will never connect with them again

Jack should keep his eyes on Christina, Ben, and Chuckie until they are well and truly out of the house. Perhaps he should even go to the police first for assistance. Ben looks vicious enough that he could potentially hurt or even kill Jack if given a chance to do so. Christina would also lie on Ben's behalf if necessary. With people such as these, you can't be too careful.

Reddit revealed that Ben got an attitude readjustment while living with his strict uncle, Chuck's regime. He made Ben endure life as Claire by having him clean up after his cousins and being humiliated by them each time he tries to talk back to them. He realized how selfish he had been to her all her life and is remorseful for it. Ben also realized how Mark and Christina were both wrong in raising him to be a spoiled brat in letting him do what wanted. He accepts that Chuck was right from the beginning. Ben was glad he was given a strict regime of discipline because he realized what was more important in life. Taking the bear he destroyed, he decides to repair it and give it back to Claire to show her how sorry he is. Ben visits her with Chuck and gives her back the bear he destroyed. Jack is suspicious at first, but Ben explains he very sorry for his earlier behavior. Being with his uncle, Chuck, he realized how wrong Christina and Mark were in raising him and encouraging him to be abusive to Claire. That Ben needed a strict regime of discipline and now wants a better relationship with his older sister. As for Mark and Christina, they wound up being arrested once the truth was exposed for all to see thank to her former MIL. Their combined abuse to Claire, and her paying bad men money to hold Jack hostage was shown in their respective trials. How Christina masterminded this because she hated him for not giving her a son and had an affair outside her marriage with that resulted in Ben's birth. Mark and Christina were both found guilty and given consecutive life sentences

I like her bears name mr srcambles if someone did that to my bear he was a gift from my grandma and grandpa after they died I was depressed but he was there I can imagine how she felt poor thing I am glad justice was served but I feel sort of cause they were kicked out on Christmas

I permanently miss my dad....and my step father is treating me as a servant, this vdo is related to my life but im not peace wth what iam having now...i love my dad..im expecting my dad to come back😭..my step father gives me alott pressure...since im 21 years old , now also he hits me very badly...can ay1 help me with this .
