Kittens are very fragile and must get a warm bath also. Be dried of very carefully and be kept warm, stimulated after every feeding, so they can defecate. Thank you and very sorry for the loss of Steel.

That is absolutely amazing!!! Thank you so much for saving those newborn kittens!!! I know first hand how difficult it is to hand-rear newborn kittens, and yes, it is very HARD! It's 'round the clock feedings, weighing the babies at the same time each & every day, (and possibly multiple times a day, even)....It's sterilizing everything from the water for the formula, to the nipples, syringes, and bottles, to not being able to leave your home for long periods of time, and you can forget about going to work, unless you're allowed to bring the babies with you! You see, I breed Persian and Himalayan kittens, and most people have no clue what I have to go through with every single litter I have. Most people think that momma cat does all the work, but they couldn't be further from the truth. I am up every 2 hours in the middle of the night, weighing them to make sure they are all nursing, and if not, then I have to supplement their feedings with KMR. I've been breeding since 2015 and there has not been a single litter (for many different reasons), where I didn't have to "intervene" and I had to feed at least 1 (but sometimes even all of the) kittens from each litter, around the clock. It is absolutely EXHAUSTING, but soooo well worth it in the end! So yes, I see you!! I know what you went through, rescuing those neonates, especially since it was your first time doing this, and I just want you to know that you are very much appreciated for everything you had done, and for all the sacrifices you made in order to save those poor tiny babies! I loved hearing your story and how they are 9 months old now! ❤ I'm assuming you still have them ? Anyhow..... I thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving them! You are truly their hero, and I am sure they appreciate everything you have done for them! ❤ Sending hugs 'n luv to you!
