I am 2 hours before my flights, interviews (sometimes or 1 hr) and if I ever go on a cruise I would be there 2 hrs before. Always women .

Man even that’s cutting it kinda close lol. We try to be there at the latest, an hour early. But I play it safe lol. I will NEVER be one of those people who’s on someone’s TikTok laughing at me cause I’m standing on there, no way back on the ship 😂

For me, 30 min is still pushing it. I'm afraid I'd have the wrong time zone in mind, or get stuck in traffic, or it's farther than you think or whatever.

Yup that’s what I was just saying,... any cruise you go on they make it VERY clear and on the private islands that don’t have airports, in my experience, they even told us we’d have to hire a private plane or wait months for the next cruise to come through lol. They make it SO clear, more than anything else.

Yep. I have been on many cruises, and you really have to be stupid and entitled to think the boat will wait or come back for you. Of the dozen cruises I have been on in my life, I have only seen this happen once in person. It was in Grand Cayman. I just thought "Well, I hope they have their passports, cuz they're flying home." Facts! I thought that they would give 5-10 mins past the announced departure time max, but half an hour is more than generous enough...

Missing ships movement at anytime is a very serious offense in the Navy. People don't understand the amount of money and planning it takes just for a smaller Naval ship to get underway. You have to pay tugs and a pilot to guide the ship out. Not to mention having to merge with shipping until you get into open waters. I can't imagine all the different complications a cruise ship actually has to go thru. i.e customs and such if in a foreign port.
