@@JamesCraigWhoop it depends on the person mindset I guess!! independence is great but I'd rather date someone who is living with his parents if they are in the same town where he works,why not save some money aside nd make him value family life more!! would keep him on the right direction, no incentive to involve with many women or bring bad influence friends,his family members gets to give their advice, not to mention how lonely men are these days so yeah why not have a laugh with your mother nd care for her instead of golddiggers nd women who just go out for a free meal(on this date my opinion is that she should have paid her "dessert" since she wasn't planning on seeing him again,nd the rudeness omg!!)

Awful date. When she said touchy subject ie the father of her son, he immediately backed off. Clearly he wasn't comfortable w her bringing up his living situation but she kept at him and making fun, even telling him when to eat. Get yourself your own place then look for a real nice respectful woman, she definitely was not a good fit.

He was being polite by offering it and she was just uncomfortable about being around someone that has a parent. Super rude to go out for a blind date dinner and order dessert, it basically saying "I want to be out of here in 15 minutes".

Well said Greenpeppersandeggs, it's often private bitterness that leads to lashing out at others like she did to her date. She struck me as quite guarded as well, starting with the choice to make it dessert and drinks. Poor girl seems damaged, and in need of therapy.

The woman has been traumatized. She said that she likes to let someone down gently if it is necessary at all; then she bit down like a raging pit-bull, & never let up. The chap was quite a gentleman, not to mention being a hero for his Mom. That woman is absolutely horrible as a date for anyone! She had to jump in immediately to say she rejected another date with him, but she thereby helped him dodge a bullet, or should I say, "dodge a pit-bullet?"

There is a difference between never having left home and you’re still there at 26 and having left but returned to take care of your mom and sisters because the man of the house has left so it falls on you to step up and take care of them. This girl couldn’t see past that and that’s her problem. I can understand how this would be a deal breaker for some and like she said, if she has to let someone down she will do it in a nice way but there was nothing nice about harping on the issue and taking shots at him. It actually shows that he does take care of his family and respects women because of it. Any other guy would have just up and left her to pay for herself and not tolerate her behavior.

from my perspective: he's a mama's boy for life as he stated his partner will always come second. but I do think it was strange that she didn't want to do a photoshoot with him - that's great that he's open enough to want to do a shoot and it could have been an opportunity to co-create.

Imagine in the near-future when her Son wants to move out because his mother is a damaged, single, lonely, narcissistic-control freak, flooded with bills and house keeping responsibilities... everything does a full circle. This video made her known to the world, she will remember this (her karma) for the rest of her life. He could have easily put her in her place, by bringing up her age/single/single-parent/fading youth situation, but instead he naturally knew in his heart, her energy is going to attract her own karma

I think she assumed he wasn't interested after she told him she had a son and he said he wasn't very hungry. She probably interpreted that as him wanting to cut the date short thinking that her having a son was a deal breaker. So she says, "skip to dessert" and he agrees and then she's being passive aggressive to him for the rest of the night.

As soon as she said she doesn’t have a mom or dad and that it was just herself and her son, that was his signal to keep conversation light and approach that kind of topic when there was a better foundation. He missed the several signals she gave him and doubled down with the, “because you don’t have any family” question, and she annihilated him for it. Brutal date. She left no mercy on the table.

"We talked a lot about his mom", yeah because you brought it up all the time, guy kept his cool, I would have been annoyed about it if she'd bring it up 5 times. You can tell that she has issues from the past, dang what a wreck.
