I'm very impressed by how she is teaching her the right things what mostly parents don't do anymore.
@mochimmy37247 ай бұрын
Most parents now do this more because previously parents were too occupied with work and never gave time to their children. A mom who had to sit in the kitchen throughout the day preparing meals for the entire family will not get this much time to teach their children plus they used to have multiple kids so it was hard to focus on the mental growth of 1 or 2.
@Moon-oh1fj7 ай бұрын
🥲my parents never did that... they never gave us time... nor taught us what should be taught in my opinion.... they always showed us material love not an actual family love.. I don't think so if I have ever lived in a happy family like others have cause my parents never showed any caring emotions like they never expressed it... And I get it cause they have never got that from their parents.... They taught me how to deal with my problems on my own and pretend as if I'm totally fine and get away with a smile! That's why I've never been able to express what I've been feeling, mentally or emotionally, even it is hard for me but never told my parents what I've dealing with and in my family nobody talks about anything related to emotions and always have a strong brave face on the outside no matter how much they've been struggling inside! They never taught me how to let out my emotions. And now I feel like crying and showing emotions makes me miserable and look weak! :( which is not true I know!

If I can help you somehow I would like to. try to do what you like to do it helps and also meditation also helps a lot . Have a good day

@Winter617426 ай бұрын
@@shmicks98 Trauma is how someone is defined 😅 Nearly every life lesson you have ever been taught was engrained in you as SOME form of minor or major TYPE trauma. Like engraining habits, they stick better when you are young. That’s why it’s so important for parents to begin teaching these things early
One of the most important lessons in life. This will help her daughter immensely as she goes through life. Too many people are jealous of what others have…..it’s not good.

Me too! Maybe I was just truly not confident, due to my environment. And it has really been stopping me from growing up or moving forward for years. Recently I realized that being jealous of someone will not make my life better. Only me, myself can improve my life, that's the only key to happiness. Thus, focus on our own and try harder to be a better person, in every aspect. I'm still trying to just concentrate on myself, I haven't got rid of that jealousy shit mindset though. From what I observe on social media, just saying Instagram, people nowadays only post about positive stuff, which seems pretty fake to me. So, I'm not gonna follow that vibe, and I wish to have a more real presence on social media & in real life too.

Sadly, most parents are like this, you are not alone, you should know you are a great person who can do great things even though you don't live in the greatest environment, don't let those comparisons get to you, just focus on getting better for yourself and they will be impressed when they see you shine the way you are
@mkjohnson78266 ай бұрын
You could just start saying “I’m having a difficult time hearing you. Could you repeat that, please.” Them make them say it over like three or more times. Maybe they will eventually hear how ugly they sound and stop. My siblings always used to tell they were embarrassed that I was born because I was a later in life baby (read accident). lol When I was in college we had to read “The Games People Play” (psych class). It really helped me. It’s an old book, but it might help you. Or “The Gentle Art of Verbal Self-Defense”. Good luck. Don’t let anyone push you down.

AND hate always comes from beneath, even if it’s people related to you. Your parents SUCK!Yeah, I said it. Once that sets in, you’ll realize how little their opinions matter. You don’t need your parent’s approval to be happy. You were taught that, but it’s wrong. It’s nice to have, but not necessary. Parents like that don’t realize there will be a day their kids will have to take care of them, and it’s coming sooner than they think. Keep doing what you do. I don’t know you, but I know YOU ARE A BAD ASS! You just don’t realize that yet. 👍
