Charlene definitely was raised right, but something corrupted her along the way. Most daughters who come from loving families and marriage want exactly that, what their parents have and what their parents gave them, not only living for themselves for so called riches. It's a shame that Carlene somehow got blinded by money and greed from some outside source ruined it with possibly the best possible husband for her around, who would've loved her with his whole heart, not for his money.

How could the mother possibly let herself blackmailed by her daughter? It really was an accident and nothing happened and even if it was in the camera, I think she should be able to explain herself to her husband.
