I HATE people that abuse children. I'm speaking as a survivor of child abuse and neglect. It is a horrible experience that I would not wish on my WORST ENEMY. People tell you that you have to heal and yes, you can learn to leave with it, however, the scar is ALWAYS there.

The father had a significant role in the discipline of his children. He had multiple instances where he could have gotten help for their abusive treatment during the marriage and after he ceased living in the same household.

No, there is a cap of 30 years for 2nd degree felonies in Utah. She will serve no more than 30 years and probably less.

Hildebrandt should get the maximum. Her statement was one of a person whose ego and controlling abusive behaivour is not admitted by her. She is not remorseful and usually child abusers will only double down even in the face of peril.

She and her husband were separated for over a year with no contact with her or the kids at the advice of Hildabrandt, supposedly to repair their marriage. He divorced her in November 23 while she was in jail.
