Different families can be difficult to get along with but after Estelle wanted to get to know them better I understood how she feels. It was cool of her brother to protect her even though he is annoying to her but that was only because he didn’t take some time to know her.

I only blame Matthew though, he deserved what he got. He and the parents were just neglecting Estelle, and yet her mom, HER OWN MOM, chose to believe a boy she wasn't even related to instead of letting her daughter explain. I love how they made the main character kinda mean, and realize her mistakes and made up to it unlike the other one's, and I also like how they didn't make her date her step-brother. This is the first story ever that didn't make me have mixed emotions, she didn't have enemies, bullies, crazy stepmom and more!!! This is just great like the others :)

That was just plain stupid and forced. I’ve seen lots of stories on here that have the whole family concept but this one does not do it well in my opinion.

I Actually Like this Story because It Changes the Pace of the Many Stories they did. There’s No Crazy Mom, A Boyfriend in a Suit of Armour isn’t here To Save the girl and Estelle did Do Some Bad things but she took Responsibility for it And tried to Make it Right and her and Matthew have an amazing Sibling relationship ❤❤❤💖💖

I don’t blame her for being angry. I would be too if my mom shipped us away to another country and expected a man I knew nothing about to suddenly be my father and have a brother, too?! And in a place where I didn’t even know the language?! I would be infuriated.

Personally, i think she was being ignorant. She shouldn't have to know everything and should've understood that there were reasons for everything. And the fact that she gets mad that her Mexican family is speaking a language she obviously doesn't care to learn. It's her own fault and should learn to be more accepting, the whole world doesn't revolve around her

The fact that she ignores her step brothers advice, and the crap she wrote in her diary saying how much she hates her family she their culture just kind of reassures how ignorant she was :/ if she really wanted to feel like she belongs to her family, maybe she should have asked to learn the language that her whole family speaks
