Yes i agree the child should stop picking up Lyly and moving her around like a doll. However, Lyly can't sit in her mothers lap because she'd be too close to the pan filled with boiling hot oil. And probably to keep her from reaching into the bowl or getting to close to the pan, someone has to hold her. Unfortunately, the child doesn't know how to properly hold her. But it did seem like her parents corrected her in the beginning which is why she stopped doing certain things (that's probably why the film was cut at certain parts - most likely to tell their child to stop). Also, Lyly just looks tired. Yes, she keeps laying down but if she was depressed, she would be sitting all the way forward with her head in her lap. She would curl in on herself and be pulling on her body. Constantly sucking on her fingers. None of which Lyly is doing. She just looks sleepy and tired. Baby monkeys do take naps during the day so she's probably just sleepy. Corn is fine for Lyly to eat. She isn't a human baby. They eat fruits and vegetables in the wild. She will be perfectly fine having some corn. I will say this again - DO SOME ACTUAL RESEARCH ON MACAQUE MONKEYS BEFORE OPENING YOUR MOUTH.
