The fact that you are able to make 10 kids breakfast and lunch every day (and I would imagine dinner too!) plus take care of pets and yourself is incredible! I’m an adult and I don’t even make myself 3 meals per day. Keep up the good work mama!

Watching this sandwich making routine looks so familiar. I have 9 kids and they like different foods too. Some ham and cheese, some turkey and lettuce, some no cheese, some tuna, some like sriracha , some mayo, some no condiments 🤣🤣🤣. Most of them are adults now and the other 4 are teenagers. They always tell me how fun their Childhood was and that they are glad they never had to change diapers and watch their siblings. It's important to let them be kids and like different things and not be clumped together just because we had so many.
@getin3949
@getin3949 2 жыл бұрын
BUT....if you had taught them to at least do small things for their siblings it makes them much better adults. I had a little sister but I still had tons of time to be a kid but I also played with her and helped Mom with things. Somehow I feel it made me a much more responsible adult. I'm now almost 68 and couldn't have children.

One put away the food, one wiped down the table, one swept the dining room floor, 2 did the dishes and one wiped the kitchen counters down. Only took them about 3-5 min per chore and my kitchen and dining room was done. I did all the vaccuum and dusting, cleaned bathroom, laundry while my husband was at work, plus I watched my friends baby to help with income for our groceries. He stories he tells me about him mom mostly being a single parent 3/4 of the time one the road as a salesman. I really do not know she did it, and she was always so calm and caring. After her childten started school she started up doing daycare for all age children and treated them just as well as she did her own child. I would tell her all the time what a gift she had, and she loved every moment of it. ❤️ no one knows what its like unless they have a very large family. I give you so much credit!!

Ketchup sandwiches are not as unusual as you think. My sister and my mother used to eat them all the time. What's more important, it is a sandwich that the child will eat and enjoy. And the best part to me is that fabulous assembly line where she fixes and packs the lunches. When I had to fix lunch for the kids at the daycare where I worked, I'd line up the plates in an assembly line, and that way, you are guaranteed that everyone gets everything they're supposed to have. The other teachers watched the kids in my class so I wouldn't be interrupted, just like the dad does. He keeps the kids in the other room so the mom can concentrate on what she is doing. I think they're awesome!

Good for Dougherty Mom! We had 10 also but the kids liked dry cereal for breakfast so we had 6 different plastic cereal containers lining our large window sill--easy reach for even the little ones. it was self serve, Mom doing the spill control. Lunch boxes were paper bags with drinks and sandwiches and a treat. School dropoff was at 5 different schools and the van pulled out at 7am. Routine laundry was 6 loads per day minimum and yes we had a lot of stray socks that didn't match! Many commenters may be critical of Doughery Mom's way of doing things however that's the way things go when you are raising a bunch of kids; you get lots of unasked for comments and learn to let them role off your back.

It amazes me that you can get up before it gets light out and start baking! I can’t even function before 9:00! And that’s only after a couple cups of coffee! You are amazing!

I know. This is amazing. I had it hard enough when my daughter went through a phase where she wanted to take lunch to school. So grateful that she loved peanut butter and string cheese! Sandwich, cheese, chips, applesauce.... and chocolate powder to flavor the school's milk.

I have a huge kitchen and only raised 3 kids. She pulls this off in what I consider a very small kitchen with barely any counter space. Just incredible and she deserves at the very least a trophy but may prefer a well deserved vacation. WOW!

She doesn’t need much more. She could have 12 counters and she’s still only one person hahaha she can only stand at one at a time 🤣

These negative commenters are such whiny babies. "Omg you are loud, you didn't do this, you didn't do that.. no one truly knows what she does before the camera goes on. "Cross contamination, it's ketchup!, kids have way too many options, you are so loud and throwing things around". You people will find anything to bitch about. "You aren't talking to the camera, I'm so offended" 😭😭😭 omg. Lol.. it's her routine. She isn't providing recipes or cooking advice. She is letting us see what her morning routine is like with 10 kids. They fought to have these children that no one else wanted. Keep that in mind when running your mouth and see the good in this family. You also do not know any possible health or mental conditions the children deal with and maybe why some only eat a ketchup sandwich or just tuna. Check yourself. This woman is savage and running circles around most with just a few kids. If you think you can do it better, give it a shot and shut up! Your comments will not stop her from making content.

I just have to say Alicia these children are so blessed to have you in their life I pray God continues to bless you with the love and kindness that you show these beautiful children. I also have a child with autism + ADHD when he was diagnosed they told me he was nonverbal and severe. Today my son is 11 years old and he is very very verbal he can read he can write he does math and I am so proud of my son. I also have twins that are going to turn 7 in July and they also have ADHD texture issues and I've just recently started homeschooling since the pandemic and they are learning so much and so much better since they're home. And no I'm not saying you need to homeschool your children it's not for everybody it is hard work. I just want to make it clear that I have nothing to say but good things about you and your family I enjoy watching your show I love your meal preps. I really love watching you shop it makes me motivated to go shopping I hate shopping LOL. You're a good Mama to these kids.

Is it 5:00 am??? Watch the clock behind her. She does all this in record time! 😲 This was so fun to watch and very relatable. She couldn't find the cup for a second...I can't find stuff all the time when cooking..."now where did I put that"...lol. You're Awesome!!! Great video! 💯

I kept watching the clock in disbelief 😂 I'm like wait, it's only been 10 min and she's done all that?? I only have 2, and get compliments on how I pack their lunches and cook them breakfast every morning. And dinner of course.. but when it's 5-6 am making breakfast and lunches is A LOT lol .... For 2,I couldn't imagine 10... Sometimes I'll put the wrong sandwich or wrong drink in their lunchbox and I'll hear it when they get home lmao but they'll still eat what they get.. it always makes me feel so bad tho, I could only imagine if I had 10 lol.. I forgot a drink for one, all together one day(I went to the garage to get it and forgot what I went out there for lol) , I honored myself with the worlds worst mother award that day 😂

So, I think I have figured it out... After watching the video & reading the comments. She isn't talking because she is thinking ahead to her next task. As long as she keeps going then she will be able to get it done before the kids wake up.This is a mundane routine for her and he has decided to video her. She doesn't ask for help from him ( because A. He won't do it when she's asked before) or B. She can't have the kids help either because it will take too much time to train them or they will not portion the food accurately. She's very good and adept at all of this, but it won't work if dad or kids join her. It belongs to her and she claims it each day. Dad is there because it's the only " quality " time they have alone- awake. Thank goodness she loves them and is providing food. She's physically present and someone makes enough money to pay for the food. We had two.My mother had six. Her friend had twelve. Somehow everyone gets through these years and no matter how togetherness are as a parent or aren't they remain as some of the hardest, scary, funny, treasured moments you ever spent. No one who hasn't been there knows how this feels. I admire her ability to concentrate with him in the background with A CAMERA ON!! She is Mother of the Year- People: She'll wash her hands, she'll wipe the knife & she'll sweep her floor.

Agreed! The only downside to this video is that I didn’t get to see the bread finished and the plates finished. Maybe hear the kids wake up and all. I am super impressed. I don’t even do a fraction of this
