I love the way you homeschool. We homeschooled our two daughters. One is now a PhD Chemist and the other got her master teaching credentials. But more importantly, they both love the Lord and live for him. Don’t give into any negativity about how you are raising your children, you love them and know what’s best for them.

I think you have a happy family. I think your children are imaginative and industrious but best of all, they are self-starters, respectful to each other, and seem helpful, loving and kind to their family members. It is a full house but not chaotic. And the love and acceptance is palpable.

Your kids look really educated , they all have something that occupies their minds whether it be jewelry making, historical ghost walks, iron works, and or hair dressing. Each one of your kiddos has learned something and trust me when I say this but listening to Andrew and Elijah talk proves that your kids are smart- heck, smarter than this 44 year old. I’m so happy and blessed that I have followed your family on journey and will continue till you either stop making videos or I go to my resting place (someday)

In some ways yea! I think in some cases conventional school is great. Definitely is not without its problems but this new generation of educators is questioning tradition and how it all works to make it work for more

I loved your religious content today. I'm a Catholic and it is part of our liturgy to sing the psalms. It is especially beautiful sung in Gregorian Chant at mass each Sunday. The psalms are also included in our daily prayers so they all become very familiar to us. You live in the most beautiful place. I have researched Davidson and it's supposed to be one of the most livable cities in America. You have certainly made a great choice. My daughter lives in Alabama and she is a missionary. Haven't seen her for 3 years as she got stuck on visa overstay due to COVID. If I ever get the opportunity to go visit her I will try to come to NC as I understand it's a beautiful State. And no, your children are very intelligent knowledgeable people. Formation is the key to rearing children and they get plenty of that. Education begins at birth and never stops. Moral values are more important than structured learning. My youngest son was homeschooled and he is now studying his Btheol and will continue to doctorate in moral theology. The sky is the limit. Love the morning routine. Love watching kids sleepy faces and crazy hair ! And I think it is wonderful thst you take some time for yourself on your walks. 9 kids has to require serious patients ! And I think your homeschooling is far more interesting than what is being taught in schools.

Very enjoyable to watch...you are a very busy Mom. I can't imagine why anyone would even think your children are not learning. They are well rounded, extremely well mannered, have a wide rage of interests and have great hobbies and ambitions. Thanks for sharing your morning routine and that quiche looked delicious. Interesting to hear you talk about Psalms. I was raised in a Dutch Reformed Church where our book of songs was called a Psalter. I had never heard of the word Hymn book till I left home.. I thought all churches used a Psalter, which is based from the book of Psalms.

Have you thought about a clothes line on the outside? In Europe we always sun dry laundry and don't even have dryers. I'm leaving it as a suggestion since it also looks like it would fit your lifestyle. Thank you for the videos, hope you have a great day!

Well fellow europen here, but a swede so we definitely have a dryer but sun dry clothes half the year! It’s great because the uv light kills bacteria in linens and stuff! It’s wild to me that your neighbourhood wouldn’t allow that!

@@havssmultron That rule applies nationwide! Many cities here in The USA do not allow clothes lines outdoors, and apartments also do not allow outside hanging of clothes, towels or linens from patios or balconies. It is considered an eyesore and lessens the value of a home and its property.

Thank you for making the video on your morning routine. I've been following your channel since your full-time RV-ing days and I've wondered how your morning routine changed since moving to North Carolina. .... I also saw the videos by another KZfaqr who cast homeschooling, particularly unschooling, in a negative light using a video from your KZfaq channel as an example. I wanted to give them a lengthy reply to rebut their video, but refrained because they have an obvious agenda and my opinion certainly would not change their already set agenda. ... re: your morning routine video. I found it inspirational and it came at a really good time for me. Thank you. I want to incorporate/ re-incorporate a daily morning walk in my life. It is also inspiring for me to see how your faith is practiced in your home and how it informs the way you live. .... I've also enjoyed watching your (Megan) personal transformation in your comfortability being you even in the face of your detractors. Critics will always be in our life, but their criticisms articulate more about who they are or what is going on in their own head/ life than they do about truth objectively. ... I am glad you kept going with your channel after you stopped RV-ing full-time.

We've homeschooled our three children since 2011-2012. My oldest would have benefitted greatly from unschooling. Unfortunately, I stumbled upon unschooling and got my head wrapped around it after she graduated high school and was in college.

I know of the video you speak of. I stumbled upon it looking for one of our older videos. All I can say is that there is a market for making up dark versions of happy people. I can’t imagine she is very happy nor are the people who are so anxious to twist our life into something it isn’t. I shouldn’t have but I read a few of the comments and there were complete fabrications in there. I don’t know why people do that but I imagine it’s because of the misery they are experiencing in their own life. They don’t want us to be happy people - it threatens their world view.

Megan......you have won!!!!! You are the mother of not only the year but of all times. Your children will grow up and look fondly of all the great times they experienced as children with you.. And when they have problems in their lives they will fondly look back at how you and your husband handled their life crisis. And really Megan.....what wrinkles are we speaking of.
