Also disclaimer: For the second episode and forward of demon slayer at the end of the episodes there is a "Taisho Era secret" which is some facts about characters most of the time. I suggest that you can make your mom react to them too as a way into this anime she can know some facts about characters that she'll be introduced too, it's fine if you don't do this though, just a suggestion! someone who is not the target of anime mostly because of a different generation is talking about how intense they are, it reminds me of my first depression (lasted a few days 2-5) after an anime when i was 14-16 it was called Angel Beat. i don't remember a lot (actually nothing) form that anime mostly because it was 12 years ago but i can still feel the pain.

I seem to remember you guys watched Jjk subbed, but just so you know, Geto's original Japanese voice actor is the same as Giyu. They sound the same, and honestly I think the soft spoken and (as someone once wisely put it) caramel macchiato voice fit him better. No hate to the dub actor, his voice is nice, it's just too deep for him 💔 but either way, she's in for a trip! We'll see who her favorite character ends up being.

Its usually best to introduce new people to anime the dub at first to gauge their reaction then sub when you realize they really appreciate watching anime. His mom likes watching anime now so she can watch it the best way which is sub since she’s more familiar with it now

@@ziadzedono, dub is better. The only anime where subbed version's are better are Cardcaptor Sakura and Pretear, their english Deb's are shit. And of course old anime, where they had no idea what they were doing are better subbed. But Demon Slayer is definitely better in english.
