Psychopaths just look at people in their lives as objects and possessions. He didn't care, just wanted to win his own twisted game. Nasty MFer. I hope they pay him back in jail, when they find out he was trying to set up a black man for the murder. If these were a lesser bunch of cops they might have pinned the murder on someone else. Although he was the obvious prime suspect. Luckily these cops on this case seem to be really good at their jobs. Take care.

I married a man, when I was 17 years old. We were married two and a half years. And the whole two-and-a-half years we were married he, literally abused me. Nothing was done because it's a time it was in the 70"s. And back then they did not protect women or children in the United States from domestic violence. After all the abuse, I finally escaped, at 4 in the morning. His mother had assured him, that I would not be leaving. But I did leave, and never returned. It was the most violent two years of my life. And thank God I, didn't have any kids by this monster. Because it would have been a living hell and just another way he would have got away with the domestic abuse. The United States has never been good about protecting its women and children. The United States has more about protecting the elite, in the hell with everyone else.

When I went to go divorce my second husband, who is the father of my two boys. He had molested my oldest boy. But there was no way to prove. So when we were going through a divorce. I got custody of the boys. But the judge ordered that I had to let their dad see them. And because I was ordered to let him see the boys, he ended up raping my four-year-old son. And not a damn thing was done about it. And to this day he is still walking free. Even though the judge, knew what was going on, he still ordered me to let boys Daddy's see them. Which put them, in danger. But the judge was more worried about the boy's father getting his visitation, instead of worrying about the safety of the boys. And this is where things go badly wrong, just because the judge, makes bad decisions, that puts people's lives danger.

My ex was given a no contact order due to DV and to him it was just a piece of paper and when he got let out of jail he came straight to home he didn't care 1 bit about it. Just so people who don't know about guns understands... Yes! I shotgun is an extremely powerful firearm, but it entirely depends on the type of shotgun shells (bullets) someone picks. A person being shot with what is called "bird shot", is dangerous and damaging for sure, but is usually survivable. Being shot with what they call "buck shot" or a "slug" is almost 100% fatal. You will not find "bird shot" loaded in a shotgun in a police car.

I hope you don't think I'm pushy, but I bet the ex-bf has a history. I'd do some digging. Write down every encounter, even if it's just suspected. Judges love that. Their hands are often tied without it. There are inexpensive $15-$20 indoor/cameras on Amazon and often on sale or buy used for even less on Amazon. I recently learned that if a boyfriend or ex strangles during conflicts, he will likely progress and eventually lead to death. He sounds scary and dangerous. The victims are usually kind and generous and see the best in people. I was in such denial while friends and family begged me to have him arrested. (Before social media) I eventually had to move away. Your daughter will likely not see how bad it is and may hide the abuse. Take this seriously. I wish you and your daughter the best.

There’s actual women who stalk too! I was 18yrs old and only barely met a psycho friend of a friend while being a DD for my friends that night but a week later I’m at home babysitting my 2yr old sister when I hear hard knocking on my apt door, I literally was scared seeing the very angry drunk lady at my door but the more I wouldn’t answer the harder she pounded and screamed at me! My poor Sister was terrified too! Anyway…she smashed my bay window with pounding with large wrenches until it shattered! By then I snuck out my bedroom window and got my Sister to a neighbors house and called the police. My friend came to try and calm that lady because I truly didn’t know her and was beyond pissed my friend gave her my address! The lady was locked inside my bathroom as I hear my friend screaming, “she’s going to kill herself!”! I did go back to my apartment and saw the bathroom door shut but blood was everywhere, on my couches, my walls, my kitchen counters and especially the bathroom door! Police arrived so I called to my friend Jenny out loud the police and ambulance were there but to my surprise the lady charged out of the bathroom and clearly she had split her wrists and both ankles but sooo drunk and angry she was able to charge at us then chased me across the apt complex! Omg 😱 I thank God I was able to outrun her but by time I got to the squad cars she collapsed near by. I don’t understand why she thought we were dating or going to? No idea but “if I can’t have you, no one will, you’re going to die today!” Several responders heard her as well as residents but she didn’t go to jail!? I got evicted for the damaged apt even with a police report and several neighbors who witnessed I wasn’t there when this woman started breaking everything looking for me inside. She survived her suicidal attempt and walks with the assistance of a cane but served absolutely no jail time, just a ticket, fines and asked to get psychological help from a hospital while she recovered from her wounds. It’s scary out there. Being so young, this situation did scare me into a quiet, shy shell!

It's the bro code. The police need to be re-trained on domestic abuse issues. Here in Canada, it's now mandatory for new judges to take courses relating to this problem. This child custody situation is crap! If people knew what we've gone through already with these monsters, maybe they'd actually care. I don't know who we go to for help, but I'm dealing with a lot and worry nonstop. I hate seeing this happen to all these good women and their children. Im terrified bc this country hasn't done a thing to change anything. They don't care if we die.

Almost everyone knows someone that’s living in or has lived through DV. It’s our societal structure that allows the culture behind fatal IPV to persist. And the fact is too many are ignorant of the intersectional causes at the root of these IPV cases

It’s a huge problem- and sadly, family court isn’t a place( to parent a child ) but it’s what we have in the end sometimes - and guess who wins legally ??? The one with power- who has power ? The one with money - money , buys the lawyers, often the weaker lawyers can be edged out financially , one way or another- I am for fathers rights - I am for parents rights I am for damn sure for children’s rights , but what’s been going down behind the scenes for decades despite common knowledge is that money has pushed the agenda- and who has larger financial power??? Not only directly but in lending to political campaigning and interest - it’s all money in the end- this is a grey area unlike criminal law, where the constitution and letter , spirit of the law holds some integrity

My ex-husband put a GPS tracker on my car when he realized I wanted to leave. He was sure I had several SIM-cards to talk to different men and so on. When I moved out with my 4 kids (not his) he tracked me to my new home and started driving past, sent his friends to check if I was at work and so on. I was so scared. When I told him I wanted a divorce he put a loaded gun in our bedroom. He had some guns with a license but I knew this was not one of them. We live in Sweden and gun control is very strict. I was so scared he would brake in to my new home and hurt me. He told my father and my best friends that I was psychotic and hallucinating and my dad belived him. He stalker my kids for years. I was all alone in all of this. My friends did’nt belive him thankfully. But I lost 80% of my friend group. The police did nothing… First after several years he backed down. It is so scary…. Stay safe, some ppl are crazy.

As usual I enjoyed this episode, from the case information to the commentary. The first case breaks my heart- this innocent baby girl was robbed of her mother by her controlling, reckless father and now she has neither parent. The DV situation in our society has been so overwhelmingly getting worse every year and it scares me so much. I’m about to turn 50 (gasp) and have been affected myself, it’s something that never goes away for some (most) of us. I have a 16 year old son and am a single mom. I know that I have raised a wonderful, respectful young man who will always love and honor women. I can only hope that more of his generation will continue to learn about DV and this cycle will not continue to repeat!!! I also have to appreciate how Luis called out the human trafficking aspect in the second case right away! I can tell it truly is something he cares about. With that said, I’m now assigning myself as the President of the Luis Bolaños Fan Club…. am I allowed to do that? 😊. I’ve really appreciated him since seeing the “GO CHARLEE GO” story. No, I just want him to know that he is appreciated! And of course Ana Garcia! ❤. You’re such a great role model for young women and I very much enjoy watching you host. OK. Enough fangirling! 😂😂😂 Good Night everyone 🌙✨💤💤💤

It always makes me so upset when people refer to restraining orders as just a piece of paper. It is a court order telling a person that they are not allowed to have contact with another person, and if they do there will be consequences. It is ONLY the systems lack of enforcement of these orders that make them as useless as a piece of paper. How many times are the violators either not arrested, charges get dismissed, or they are given warnings, or some other rediculous penalty after violating a restraining order. Criminals don’t care if they violate them because almost nothing happens to them when they do.

Custody and visitation my experience has been when the non-custodial parent that has visitation and the custodial parent picks them up to take them home after the visitation and the parent refuses the police do not do anything they will tell you you need to take it to Court they do not intervene they do not interfere. They stepped back and tell you they can't do anything the court has their hands tied. They're told that they have to file a motion in court to get their child back that's already ordered; it makes no sense to me is just a waste of time money. And most of these cases end up with something absolutely devastating happened to the custodial residential parent and destroys everybody lives including the the child they claim that they want to have and raised and care for but that is obviously not the reason it is usually because they want to hurt the ex-partner as much as they can with no care for the child's best interest.

I'm sorry and especially if the mother was the primary caretaker~there isn't a father with a brain in his head even think of trying to take that baby away from her mommy on any regular permanent basis. Some women are even still nursing a baby that young, and a man who truly loves his child would never try to take that baby away from her/his Mommy. Very few men want a baby of that age that they have not been the primary caretaker of, it's only to give the mother grief and fear just in the very threatening of taking her baby from her.
