What if it turns out that you have to be good at the game to have more hippos appear? Maybe you are in charge of a game reserve/captive breeding program/farm. You are trying to keep the hippo population high, so you can catch them to sell them to zoos or slaughter them for meat or something. So if there are no hippos, it actually does mean you're a "noob" because you let the hippos go extinct. The reason why that the player hasn't already lost is because either: * You can buy more hippos * There are other animals to breed/manage. Maybe they can't be seen in the ad because they are kept separate from hippos. * You only lose after the protagonist learns that the hippos are extinct Alternatively, the game still lets you play after losing, even though there isn't really any point.

So what are they saying? Women are better gamers than men? I find that a pound of concrete is still equal to a pound of bricks. Meaning it’s all about skill... gender doesn’t immediately define someone’s abilities as a player. This must be a marketing method used to get female audiences to buy crap on their games. Quite sad really, these -mostly- Chinese sad excuses of game devs would pay a lot of money to obtain the knowledge that women on average spend more money than men so they compete harder on the attentions of women with looser wallets. Fabulous. And in turn it just makes them look like stereotypical racist and sexist asshats. Makes me wish Google Play and the iOS App Store would crack down on this false advertising, because 9/10 of these aren’t even what the game is. It’s kinda like video games from the 80’s where the cover art would be these insanely detailed battles or whatnot and then you play the game and it looks like E.T.
