For a 22 y/o to be caught off-guard, and suddenly responsible for another rent, another car note, another insurance payment, other bills, AND kids is expecting too much! There are a lot of *32* year olds who would have struggled with that responsibility! Also, maybe it’s just me, but I think it was messy of mom to put out to the world that her daughter had a BBL. She could have just said: *”After her surgery”,* or something to that effect, because, while you may be on T.V., that was *none* of our business.

But she was good enough to take care of the daughter for her bbl but she didn’t know how to take care of bills?? The mom said she had her own house car etc but when her mom was down she couldn’t “figure it out”??? I’m think y’all missing some facts. I think we all missing some facts. If my mom got out the hospital I would be there!! Periodt 22 or not. That’s messed up! She went on with her life when her mom almost DIED!! Left her momma to figure it out straight out the hospital?? Maybe it’s a generational thing but regardless after you become an adult you are supposed to be there for your parents if it comes down to it. That’s how I’m raising my kids to do. We are supposed to take care of our parents!! Not the government or random strangers at a nursing home.

In the second story, that Mother is all wrong. Alexis is only 23 years old!!! That was too much responsibility for a young woman all by herself. That Mother had to be behind in her car payments already because cars aren't being repossessed for one month being behind in their car payment. That mother should have had plans in place in the event something happened to her. It is the mother's responsibility to take care of herself not depend on her daughter!!!

She only thinks of herself and when things dont go her way, she comes with the guilt-tripping ans victim blaming. I totally understand how she feels and no matter how much she wants whatever it is from her mother, she may never get it. Big ups to her for setting boundaries too. If you think about it what, whenever she paid for she was on her own. She had that before anything like that happened to her mom. Your car doesn’t get repossessed after missing one car payment, her mother was is a bad predicament. If the children already knew the lease wasn’t be renewed then there should have been a plan on where they were to go next. The daughter put her mom stuff in storage. Her siblings went to relatives and she made sure of their basic needs. To help someone out of a hole you don’t jump in the hole as well. This daughter gave a second car to her mom. Mom was running foul prior to the coma.

I understand the daughter was young but the first thing that came out of her mouth was just wanted to enjoy her life. If you seen your mother laying there near death and it hurt you so bad. Why in the world would you want to see her and your siblings homeless. This situation just left me with a lot of questions.

This girl was independent not living home with her mother!! The mom said once she got out the hospital with nothing her daughter said ✌🏽. Nowhere to be found and left her mom to fend for herself!! I was raised that whenever the time comes I need to take care of my parents and will whole heartedly!! Many cultures raise their children to do the same. The daughter was selfish and played the R card for sympathy. Cuz her mom never said she wasn’t there for her daughter. She just expected more from her than what she got when she was on her deathbed.

Also if y’all believe all it takes is 1 month to lose everything and not a series of months of missed payments and bad decisions y’all are just as triflin as the mother. She’s been holding a grudge since her daughter moved out she said it herself saying she became selfish since she left, translates to me since you can’t be at my beck and call I’m mad about it. Parents I really want to ask you this question, do you all only go out of the way for your children because you feel you’re stacking favor or nursing care points for when you get older ? As in your child’s life only matters to you because you can use them later on

Second case, I know the daughter was 22 years old, but couldn't she have opened up the bills to find out where to pay the car bills or any other bills, and possibly contacted family or friends or asked someone for help. The mother wanted to be heard and it doesn't seem like she was heard. I think the mother was hurt when Karamo raised his voice to her. Karamo seems to be trying to force the mother to apologize for something that she is upset about. This forced healing is not working. In this case both people's feelings and concerns needed to be acknowledged.

She even mentioned renting a uhaul to make sure that her mom's things weren't taken out of the home when she was about to be evicted. I mean in the video of her mom in the hospital she stated that she didn't leave her side and had to make adult decisions based on her moms health at the age of 22. Idk. The mother been trifling and jealous of her daughter, I can bet money the daughter left to escape being a second parent to her siblings she said it herself she’s allowed to live her life now as in she was definitely not allowed to when she lived at home with her mother. Plus idc where you’re from one missed payment doesn’t equal repossession unless you’re getting your car from some janky business, the mother is irresponsible and the daughter was over it. Plus with the mother’s attitude you can see why the daughter kicked her out there’s no way you’re staying in my house blaming me for you poor life planning and unfortunate circumstances you’d have to go. Sorry but not every parent deserves a child that will make themselves bankrupt to save them from themselves, some parents get the same energy back that they give.

The 22 year old daughter did what she could. The mother-daughter relationship seems unstable in many ways. Certain mothers sacrifice and other mothers dedicate. And I believe, seen the mother's behavior, that this woman can be quite manipulative. Her response is dismissive and her demeanor is judgemental. She couldn't place herself in the shoes of her child for a hot second. That lady reaped what she sowed. Family is not everything to everyone because of certain unhealthy dynamics. And if it were everything to everyone, where was the rest of the family, as in the actual adults?

My heart goes out for the second daughter, baby walk away. Your mother is toxic, narcissist, intitled. Yes she needs the support when she was in a coma but how is that her responsibility to take care of everyone and herself. No maam

If I was in that position and my daughter did not stick with me and take care of me I would not understand it. My children need to be their for me through thick or thin. If she turn on her sibling and not take care of him, there will be no forgiveness from me. I raise them to look out for each other until death they part. Neither should or will be accepted should any go against the other.

As a mother I will never ever make my kids feel that they are obligated to take care of me and have them not live their own lives. I give them that option if they want to take care of me but I will never have them feel like they are obligated to do so. It’s natural to do what you have to because that’s your parent it’s not written as you job to do so. Parents who struggle and put that type of prey on a child is sad asf.

Right? You are and adult and stuff like that. Take charge, prepare yourself. Talk to the older people in your life to take charge in case you fall in a time of need. That's a lot to put on a 22 year old. It would break my heart to have put my children in that position. I would glad for them to step-up but I wouldn't expect it.

@@yolandamcgowan4920 Well I’ll be the first to say this, if my mother was a good mother to me, I’ll do all I can for as long as I can, but if she was a shit parent, good luck with finding that elsewhere. 😅 You reap what you sow. I’m not obligated. It’s a nice thought and a nice gesture but if you were shit… I have a strong feeling that anything done still wouldn’t be appreciated.

But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8 KJV Exodus 20:12 12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

The second mom is all about attention. She wants to play the victim and will never take responsibility for her actions. The daughter is a strong women for making the chooses that she did at a young age. I don’t think i would have been able to even handle the situation like she did. I think the mom is a little jealous about her daughters success

And if it were everything to everyone, where was the rest of the family, as in the actual adults?

your daughter is YOUR DAUGHTER. Whether or not "you would've done it for her" is irrelevant! The mother has no freaking accountability and parents like this are so exhausting. You're raising a human being, they do not have to be responsible for you! you laid down and brought them here! I would NEVER expect my child to be there for me bc "i did it for her" foh. that's selfish.
