US President Joe Biden tripped on Wednesday (Nov 16) as he made his way up a flight of stairs during a visit by G20 leaders to the Tahura Mangrove forest on the second day of the group’s summit in Bali, Indonesia.
The moment was caught on camera, with Biden saved from a near fall by Indonesian President Joko Widodo, who quickly grabbed onto the US leader’s right arm to stabilise him.
Other G20 leaders who attended the mangrove tree planting event included Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

The pavilion is in old Indonesian architecture, the pillar/post used volcanic stone/grey stone they called it 'batu candi' with Balinese-Javanese ornament and decoration. the roof used balinese style and used traditional baked clay/ceramic roof tiles.

The reason he tripped is because the steps in Indonesia are shorter in depth than the length of his shoes. Jokowi knows that subconsciously. Besides, he knows he's walking with a senior citizen in age, so better be ready for any eventuality. And it happened; a bit mildly fortunately.
