Sorry to say in minute 3:27 you call Icm something that is the moment of inertia of a disk around a diameter but NOT passing through center of mass. That is why you use Steiner Th: to translate the axis to one passing throuh center of mass.

If any limit is from -a to +a then we can double the whole term and set the limit from 0 to a..... Even though If we didn't do this we'll get same answer at last in both methods
