So true God never fails, in my whole life and I am 71, I can't remember a time when God didn't have my back through everything!! I just am so blessed and all of us are!

My 5th great grandfather Pendleton Isbell, was in Washington's private guard at Valley Forge. He was also a captain at King's Mountain. I am a patriot, it runs with the blood in my family... and thank you Jesus for shedding yours🙏

Thanks for these insights into American History and our faith roots. p.s. While many still used smooth bore muskets at the time of the Revolution, most of the frontiersmen in the American colonies probably had long rifles, aka Kentucky long rifle, and brought those with them to the colonial army. Long rifles had at least twice the accurate range of muskets. And these frontiersmen were very, very good marksmen.
