My new one year old hound dog went next door where my neighbor was shoveling snow off his roof. He put a ladder out back and Silas climbed up on the roof to visit Lou. He called and I looked out the window to see Silas running in circles around Lou trying to get him to play. He’s my first ever ladder climbing pup ❤.

If it's any consolation. Egg laying Hens are not slaughtered for meat since they're more precious for their eggs and they're much too old that they're meat are tough and sinewy. Most chicken for eating are as young as 2 months and usually male.
