This band's sound embodies everything I love about 90s rock. A lot of it sucked, but a lot of it was amazing, and Momma have absorbed those amazing elements. I hope Momma keep it up and keep writing great tunes like this.

You’re right. But XMU is for New Music (except XMU Old School). This is New Music, so it belongs on XMU. Old ‘90’s Alt-Guitar-Pop, like Smashing Pumpkins & Nirvana & Liz Phair & The Breeders & Veruca Salt, belong on channel 34 Lithium.

XMU is for all music that would and has been played or starting on college radio. That's why they cover stuff from the 80's and 90's as well. XMU Pretty much introduced me to Momma, Girl in Red, Japanese Breakfast, Snail Mail, Soccer Mommy, Wet Leg, Phoebe Bridgers. I mean This is basically the the cornerstones of the best Alternative Rock Music since the Pandemic started. I have no clue why they haven't done a tour together!

This song is so 120 Minutes 90s. I love it. Was hooked the first time I heard it on 88.5 XPN in Philly. This is the type of song you just don't get tired of hearing whenever it plays.

@@Dalt21 Hell, yeah, it does. I was just at the Fillmore for the first time to see First Aid Kit. You also have The Troc, The TLA, Electric Factory (now Franklin Music Hall), Union Transfer (saw LSD there), The Mann (awesome for Summer concerts outside) and now The Dell on the other side of Fairmount Park across the Schuylkill River, The Tower Theater (technically in Upper Darby), the fairly new The Met, World Cafe Live of XPN radio, and across the Delaware River in Camden, NJ the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion (somewhat similar to The Mann and on its 6th name change since it opened?). Plus loads of other smaller venues and The Keswick in Glenside. Also The Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, NJ is like a micro version of The Tower. I saw Dar Williams there. So may great venues in Philly and its burbs, whether it's north and west or in South Jersey. We are rather fortunate in that regard.

⁠⁠@@bannedagain1483To clarify, going back to the ‘80s and ‘90s, alternative rock was male dominated, just like many other rock genres at the time. Sure, there were female led alt bands like Hole or The Breeders that broke into the mainstream for example, but for a PJ Harvey there were 10 Pearl Jam rip offs in the ‘90s. Fast-forward to today, and I’m seeing many more woman led bands break into the mainstream compared to men. I think that’s great! So.. hover over the red bar and "most played".. maybe the only song that's a high-plateau. Ive never seen a song people just listen to from beginning to end each time. Congrats Momma!! This song. Its verses replace the Cars' "I'm in Touch with Your World"s camp with cotton candy sweetness. Its bridge replaces the Pixies' "Tame"s animal intensity with fairy dust. Its soaring chorus is all theirs. This band's originality is built on an encyclopedia of influences, and this song takes zero wrong turns. Best new guitar band I've heard since Gazebo Effect, and they're quite good.

I came here to say what I just saw everyone else said, this takes me back to when the world was young. Good stuff man. Purist, minimalist, amazing harmonies. Heard you on XSM a couple of days ago after hitting the wrong button on my radio and so glad I did. In fact I thought you were a band my old band (The Blow Up) used to play with back in the 90's at USC (*The* USC, University of South Carolina). You've got a new fan. new but yet nostalgic! Veruca salt/Breeders/Juliana Hatfield rolled into one! i cant say enough about how refreshing your music and sound is to me! Please let this revive a sound long gone when once upon a time life was easy and great! music nowadays are just cashing and dialing it in and absolutely zero creativenesses and musicianship! This band encapsulates everything ive been waiting for! Thank you Momma! I am now and forever will be a lifelong fan!
