That being said I feel like the damage buff she got for her cannons in a previous patch overshadows her new changes because of how good the cannons are on the new map. Momo's cannons buff was exactly what she needed with a small Beta buff to balance her out so now others stand a chance against her now which makes her gameplay all the more pleasing to watch :D

So fun fact: Before season 3, she was actually always able to be hit from behind, they should've specified a bit better on the beta change that you can actually see the damage you're doing to her. Its sort of similar to how you won't see the down or damage you've done to a transformed Toga when you kill her

Nah, that's not true though, she had genuine invulnerability a la All Might but better. The key thing is some things could break it, like burst damage or Vine, and also she could take initial damage just like AM could. There was no weird damage indicators not showing here. Not sure how you came to that conclusion. Toga is a totally different case, you just don't see her "Down" when she transforms because she has to transform back, which I think could be fixed especially S3 when a big update was sounds for your team to prioritize like Guard Breaks and Downs.

@@LaztheLaxI came to that conclusion cause I've killed momo's while she was in her shield with characters such as bakugo and todoroki, and I've also been the receiver of said damage as momo in the same fashion so it was the game just not showing numbers

It's pretty smart how they balanced momo to make her game play a little less vehicular manslaughter based. Buffing the cannon helped make her more interesting at least to me.

I think it's interesting how different characters benefit in different ways from the new map. Momo and Dabi are not people you want to be locked into one of the smalls room with while Ochako, Bakugou, and Deku are thriving with all the tall buildings. It's been fun to see people start adapting

Yea I've been seeing crazy clips of Momo's cannons doing insane work especially on this map. Just today alone i saw 2 double down clips with the cannons. So great buff there. I think her beta nerf was necessary too so great changes all round here.

Momos been one of the characters I've been trying a lot in my quest for a new main too. I like her a lot but only when its on the new map. I personally go level 9 cannons, they do insane damage and you can put 3 down and absolutely melt a whole team to start a fight. Then I go to level 4 shield. I mostly like having the shield at the size where it spreads once you place it so you can block off doorways and have something to heal behind. It has a lot of nice utility. I also find at level 4 one shield rush will thirst your downs like instantly. Then after that I just put everything into alpha.

@@CharismaticDemon_ Haha no problem. I wanted to ask btw, how do you feel about the new map? I find I always do amazing the whole time until the very end and then the final circle goes away from all the buildings to a completely empty tiny field with no cover and I get 2nd place like every time lol

@@caseyclark5174 I’m loving the new map but I get what you mean. The ending of the froppy video kinda showed it with all the teams fighting with barely any cover around. Still tho I like the chaos and flow of the map a lot but I also have mainly played characters with decent mobility who I feel like are amazing on this

@@CharismaticDemon_ Yeah definitely, I don't really have any super high mobility characters I like atm but I also think the new map is really good for the momos/dabis/kaminaris/kendos etc characters who want to lure you into their zone and either destroy you up close or fort up a spot/deny areas. That's the kind of characters I've mostly been using on it. They just really fall apart at the end it always goes to the empty bottom area or the nature area field way on the left final zone. Idk if it's supposed to always do that or I'm just unlucky lol

I finally pulled Momo and been maining her ever since. I do Gamma, Beta, then Alpha as well especially since the cooldown for Alpha is pretty good at level 1

Momo has such great moves for destroying people😂. The alpha that can stunn, the beta that chase you and the gamma that now have also more range and crazy damage. Momo is super hard to fight against everytime i see her and from this video also that iida will have problems😂. Super video Demon you did crazy damage in that rooms or corners❤

Her cannons are Hella terrifying now in closed off areas, or extremely close range! I've been 100-0d several times now by getting tapped simultaneously by 3 cannons and another enemy attack.

I'm pretty sure she was always able to be hit from behind, They just didn't really word it correctly. As far as what to upgrade first I upgrade her Shield 1st if and ONLY if "Kendo" is not on my team. Then it would be a second priority. If I do have her on the team I upgrade her Alpha.

I like these buff/nerfs because it makes some players thats used only one move use the characters whole kit but they gotta fix the iida glitch. It's getting ridiculous at this point.

Well as a Momo main, I was upgrading Beta first, but with this patch I guess I'm gonna upgrade alpha first cause it's so powerful too, and probably upgrade some Beta at the same time. But I always found gamma's cannon gets destroyed sooo easily by opponent's attacks and it's pretty hard to hit with it in general, especially all the characters with high mobility or speed

I was playing momo yesterday and back to back i was solo in a troes game, all i did was lvl 9 my alpha and gamma and stand at UA or supermarket and spam cannons and i kid you not i had over 6 kills and also 1 v 3 a team (w/plus ultra) i was going crazys. I lost the games in one of then and won the other. I am thinking whiching from being a iida main to a momo main,idk what it is but iida feels weird this season

Those cannons really do be going crazy with the damage output. Especially if you catch someone lacking the burst damage is amazing. And I think they made Iidas alpha knock back further so that could be why

Momos cannons are just good no matter which ones you sick perverts (especially you mineta) momo is popular for 1 v 3ing whole teams I myself have done it with one of my experiences being against Yu Takeyama more better known as my lady hero uravity and pro hero cemontos! Anyway on to the buffs and nerfs she got nerfed hard this time! Her cannons the one she creates with her famous power creation where it takes her own bodyfat to create basically anything! I need an explanation on why IBARA NOW HER ALPHA CANT HIT ANYTHING i can hit everyone using other characters, but Ibara is like she's lagging a lot idk, the hair would go thru the same person 3 times and rhose 3 times it didnt count as a hit, im angry

I personally upgrade the gamma to 4 first then lvl my alpha to 9 then my beta to 4 then my gamma to 9 and finally my beta to 9 does anyone else lvl up momo like this ?

Interesting pathing but I can see why. 2 cannons then increasing range(?) and damage of alpha then shield size

@@CharismaticDemon_ and I always need range incase someone is ruining away or if they are inside 2 is enough for me and one isn't enough and my alpha is my main source of damage so that's why I do it like this
