It's so cute to see how you guys dig Momoland. Couple things to note: -Taeha and Daisy didn't promote with the group for I'm So Hot because of health reasons and a dating scandal respectively. This song - which saw them explode in popularity - has all 9 of their lineup. -The hip hop transitions out of nowhere are kinda their signature. -JooE (blonde pigtails, one of the rappers) in this video is mocking an advert she became somewhat viral for, advertising Tropicana. -It's slim body, not booty ;) -React to Baam next!

JooE's Tropicana advert was actually a reference to her overzealous dancing during a performance of a Wonderful Love remix that went viral, which is how she got the advert

It's an instant classic, and it's got a timeless sound - 5, 10, 20 years from now it will be just as catchy as the day it came out. There's no particular trend or sound to it that's gonna date it

This is the song that made momoland very popular all Kpop idols sing and dance too it it’s very popular. The ones on the hip hop type part they was the same girls on it on I’m so hot (blonde hair girl I know she was there for sure , not sure about the other one)

StreetNoise That was definitely not a good look on iKon but the “scandal” blew over very quickly and most people were on her side. Not sure what their company was thinking sitting one of their popular members out :/

Momoland's producer is Shinsadong Tiger, which leads to a recognizable sound. He is also responsible for much of EXID's sound. For me Momoland is the 3rd Generation's reincarnation of the 2nd Generation's T-ara. Shinsadong Tiger produced a large number of their hits as well. for examples (for retro days) check out Cry Cry, Lovey Dovey (In that order, the videos are a story) Day by Day, Sexy Love, (also video story, in that order) Roly Poly, Sugar Free. and also the Lovey Dovey zombie version for undead hijinks.

Shinsadong Tiger is one of my favorite producers & Momoland is supplying me with the old school kpop sound I love! I just discovered an older song of his that I instantly fell in love with Dal Shabet "B.B.B. (Big Baby Baby)" that I hope they react to someday.

It’s ok everyone thought the rap part of this song was very odd and bit cringe. The song otherwise is good. The dance in boom boom is actually trended back then and which gained more views fast. It’s perfect debut for them, that’s why their later songs they try to make catchy boos and dance routines

I didn't think the rap part was cringe, but it definitely abruptly took the song in a surprising 180 degree turn, yet the return back works so well - that made the rest of the song work for me. Interesting how each of us can find different things to like. 😊 MOMOLAND is awesome, I'm sure we agree on that. 💖
