This whole show could just be an hour of delta going off and talking about the most random stuff and I'd still watch every minute Idk what it is Maybe it's because I'm so introverted, that people like Delta that can just go one and one about anything are comforting to me because I know they aren't expecting me to say anything, cuz they've got things to say. So I just get to relax and listen to the ramble

Ten years ago I was cleaning out a house for someone who's Mother died. She saved cards, and ephemera her whole life and kept them in photo boxes. Her son wanted me to throw them away, and I felt bad about it, so I asked him if I could take them home. There were cards for every occasion from the past ninety years, letters from WW2, all kinds of things from her High-school (I went to the same high school 70 years after her). I've continued to collect antique and vintage greeting, and post cards since then. I decorate with them for everything. I made a banner out of vintage birthday cards that I hang up anytime I'm just having a cake for someone's birthday. I think the most random one I have is an "I'm sorry you're sick on Saint Patrick's Day" card, it's not home made a company actually printed them and sold them.

Reusing the gift bags is sensible and good for the environment. What I use to wrap my presents is the brown paper that comes in the box with Amazon orders. Any fancy colorful and plasticky card or bag can't be recycled and is trash as soon as you buy it.

I’m someone who keeps all my birthday cards, I have cards from friends and family from when I was like 15, people always ask me why but I just can’t bear to throw them away! To me it signifies the love and appreciation that the person who gave me the card feels for me.

OMG!!! When we went through my great grandmother's house after my uncle (her son, who was living in the home) passed away, we found about 10-12 greeting card boxes FULL of cards. She kept every greeting card she received in her entire life. It was certainly interesting to see these cards from the 1930's all the way through the 70's.

Okay, so, I worked for the deli in a supermarket, and this one customer gave me a small little piece of paper that she had written "You're our favorite in the deli," on. I still, ten years later have that pinned on my wall, and I look at it - and it still makes me happy - to this day. Some people really do appreciate the little things, like notes and cards.

Everything that you have to say is just so important and very valid. My sister and I watch very Delta as soon as it comes out while getting ready for work and you were made for this.

Delta! Some stores have the nerve to charge $8 for greeting cards. I was floored the last time! 😮 for my close tech savvy friends and family I just give them digital gift cards. For my old school family, I started printing personalized cards. And yes everything about the gift bag is correct. You’re always right!

Some thing that I think is Very Delta… going to a store after a holiday (like Valentines Day, Xmas, etc.) and buying the cards, gift bags, wrapping paper, etc. at 50% off. I like to buy the stuff that doesn’t mention the holiday. Like wrapping paper with stripes, dots, or plaid that can be used for any occasion. Cards that can be used the following year. Save money where you can.

Wrapping paper - SAMS! They have the best wrapping paper, it's double sided, it's a huge roll, and lasts forever. I use one side for the present and then make a paper bow out of the opposite side. It looks really cool. You save paper, don't have to purchase bows, and everyone is super impressed by your wrapping.

Totally agree with you on presents and cards! You can use magazines and newspaper to wrap gifts with....print out photographs and write on the back instead of cards, more personal and you can keep them....😊
