Enjoyed the vlog, it got very close in the 2nd leg, you guys were the best opposition we had. I think you're right regarding atmosphere. We might not sing all of the time but when we do, we do it properly loud. I think mostly we are paying attention to what is happening on the pitch and reacting to that. Just some differences between continental and English fans of football.

Great video. You were easily the best team we have played in the Conference League, and were better than us over both legs. We were lucky to get through.

Great video. Love seeing my home city of Birmingham through the eyes of an outsider. Lille are definitely up there with one of the toughest teams we've played this season. Hopefully we meet again, this time in the Champions League!

You deserved the win over the two legs, that's knockout football for you. J'ai trop kiffé faire le déplacement jusqu'à Lille étant supporter villan ex-pat. Et ca fait plaisir de voir quelqu'un qui s'intéresse à l'histoire du football dans mon pays, et encore plus de voir Small Heath (Birmingham) perdre à la maison haha !

I just watched your video as a Villa fan. I will say both sides deserved to go through to the semis. Your away fans were great! A lot of energy from away supporters. Maybe both sets of supporters fed off each other! Hope to have you guys back at Villa Park soon!

32:42 😂😂 on a eu ce debat tellement de fois. Tu m'a tjr dis que pour les hors-jeu pour 1mm c'est très bien que les buts soient refusés. Même si les joueurs sont sur la même ligne. Que quand on met l'arrêt sur image pour tracé la ligne de hors-jeu y'a forcement une marge d'erreur par rapport aux images par seconde que la camera peut capté. Moi j'ai tjr dis que c'était une connerie ça. Pour moi faut montrer l'image à l'arbitre principale et lui à 5 seconde pour décider si y'a hors jeu ou pas. Si il a un doute et que le hors jeu n'est pas claire bah il valide.

We were singing plenty during this game. It was quiet at the end because everyone was gutted about the penalty we should have had, and the Lille goal. I find many European fans sing all the way through but barley watch the game. As the vlogger said. We may be quiet at times because we're focused on the game, but when we're loud we're very loud. Ajax were perfect example, their fans were brilliant, but completely out of sync with the game.

@@mickedeutBoth of those are similar to Villa, they'll be quiet at times when the game is tense, but very loud when we have momentum, and when we score. I think it's best way for fans to be.

English fans are 100% absorbed in the match. When their team is winning, they are massively loud; when their team is not doing well, they are quiet with nail-biting apprehension. English fans live and breathe football. It isn't just some banal event for them, where you sing mindlessly all the time. England is the world's number 1 football culture.

Comme l Angleteere en général. J ai fais avec Anderlecht, Leeds, celtic, villa et je parle pas des clubs londoniens car Londres reste une belle ville mais pour le reste c est horrible.
