Great video! I was wondering, from your perspective, what makes Monaco special in comparison to other European countries? I'd love to hear your insights on what sets Monaco apart and what experiences you found most memorable during your time there.

Thank you! It is very interesting that the country is tiny - I mean the length of the entire country is about 3km ~ 2 miles and the width is less than 1km at the widest point. This makes it the second smallest country in the world. The video covers most of the length of the country. It is very interesting that they managed not weasel their way out of the French Empire and maintain their independence. Today, Monaco has a ridiculously high GDP, which makes it a resort for some of the world’s wealthiest people. Its low taxes led some rich people including tennis players to reside there. The principality is known for its casino de Monte Carlo and its formula 1 races. If you’re going to Monaco, odds are that you’ll be going by car from France as I’m not aware of commercial flights landing in Monaco. Maybe you could also go by ship. The video starts in France and transitions seamlessly to Monaco. It is interesting that if you live or work on these “two streets” that constitute Monaco, you would probably have a different lifestyle than the surrounding villages. Other than that, it looked like a polished French city with magnificent views. Monaco’s buildings are taller because they have to accommodate more people in a tiny area. In terms of architecture, what’s also special about Monaco is that Le Corbusier, who is the only architect in the 100 most influential people of the 20th century, married a woman from Monaco and lived close by, where he had views over Monaco every day. Monaco is also very close to Italy, and thus has some Italian influence on its architecture.

Are these ugly fences normal at 21:02 and layer ? It’s always like that?

@@WanderingWayfarer I'm glad it's temporary…looks like a prison and I don't think it's enough to save a life during this time 🚗 . Thank you so much for your answer! Happy Sunday!
