Spritzing water on the paper before mod podging was the absolute best tip I ever got from an influencer! Thank you! My mod podge projects always turn out great now that I spray water on my paper!

My favorite was the sled at the end!!! Our DT is in the process of moving so by the time they get into the new building it will be pretty late to get anything done for xmas.....

I'm definitely still watching but I had to share my thought before I lost it lol in regards to the cutting boards with the plaid paper you could use the buffalo plaid fabric and make it for outside. If you attached 2 of the stir sticks together for each side to give a longer height you could stick it in the ground maybe in your flower bed. I'm definitely going to be doing this!

Hi Cindy, It is hard to pick a favorite as all your crafts are different than what others are making and they are all wonderful. I think my number 1 one has to be the ladder of cutting boards especially the one that says JOY. My mom wore JOY pins all thru the year, had Choose Joy bumper stickers on her car and her favorite one we buried her with July 26th. She had tons of Joy ornaments made by me or bought and finally 2 Christmas ago long before we knew she was going to have terminal cancer, she said she loved all I gave her but she had too many Joy's. We laughed at how that sounded but I knew what she meant. In February I have to move out of her house as it is being put up for sale. I wish I could stay but do not have enough in savings to buy out my brother and sister. As I am unpacking all mom's holiday decor and my sister and I dividing all up to share, I will decorate mom's house one last time with lots of JOYful decorations. And now I am so excited to make this cutting board arrangement. Not sure where I will put it but maybe on her mantle against the wall. On one end I will display her violin she played as a teenager and the opposite end a beautiful Lamoge nativity I have had for years my mom loved. I feel bad my Advent candles have not come on time but with the painting I always hang for mom of the shepherds in the field the painting hangs high so the ladder of words will look great up there. I have always loved sleds also and my child one is in the basement. I would like to display that this year and my ice skates I wore as a teen. Last year my mom was already very sick and I was saying I wonder where my old white skates were. She put her finger in the air and headed to the stairs. I told her not to go down and she said let's go together. She knew right where my skates were. They were really bad looking and we never did display them. I wanted to sit with her as much as I could then spend time washing old leather skates. This year I will get nice white laces and polish them up nice. In Alexandria, VA near my job is a brand new Dollar Tree. It use to be a CVS so that tells you how big it is. They have a huge wood aisle but i have not been for a while. I hope to go on my lunch hour to find the 4 square nesting box arrangement. I think you could use that in many ways. I am also going to the Jersey shore this weekend to put a wreath on my mom's grave. My sister and I are making it with pinecones and holly from my mom's yard. I have pretty cardstock from Michael's to cut out with the word Joy to attach to the wreath. This was a wonderful inspirational video of ideas. I loved your crafts you sold too. This year was the first in a few years I did not sell at a 3 day craft sale but years past I only made jewerly and note cards. I have dusted off my miter saw and bought new sand paper and next year hope to enter the sale again. For my mom I made last year a tree from paint sticks and each branch said WISE MEN STILL SEEK HIM. I attached quilter's batting to the base and displayed mini Christian symbols. We have kept it out the entire year. Blessings, Rebekah in Arlington, VA
