Women like Justine, Jodie Foster, Brooke Shields, Mayim Bialik, Danica McKellar, etc., are the type of Hollywood role models that young people should aspire to be.

I dyed my hair for years, going gray early, than I turned 45 this year and covid hit last year and I thought health means more. And watching some actresses now being themselves gives me courage to be myself. I look at Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Justine Bateman, Mindy Cohn, Diane Keaton being themselves, they look beautiful and natural. I feel a bit better about myself, when I spent years hating the way I look.

I love that Justine was critical of the lockdown. She could have been a little *more* critical, but at least she said it.....rational people were being cast aside and shamed, you can say that again!

Great job to everyone! Love watching your interviews and questions. Fingers-crossed for a Part 2 interview with Justine :-) .... she has more to share ! Justine's insightfulness into life's trajectories was a masterclass in shifting viewpoints. Such an interesting person :-) Thank you for these podcasts--

Thank You Justine-if you happen to read this, your insight about redirecting my thought about perhaps my life taking another direction from the old(from my 27 years in clinical dental hygiene, increasingly getting nearly impossible to get employed into new offices as I find myself older than all the staff and employers)) that is BETTER! THANK YOU!

With all due respect, Mindy, it was short-sighted of you to lump teaching in with "non-creative" careers. I taught Fine Art to 10,000 K-12 public school students before retiring, and always made it goal #1 to encourage free thinking and problem solving skills. A younger collegue, (exactly your, and Justine's, age bracket) is an English teacher who is one of the most creative souls I've ever met - one who makes writing, reading and comprehension come alive to teens. Perhaps you need to rethink what it takes to keep young people engaged. Otherwise, thank you for providing these wonderful interviews!

Because of mainstream media, digital platforms, and wokeism/activism... what happens to megastars who are on top, paid many millions, in a collapsing industry (Hollywood) now...

Hollywood isn’t collapsing. Distribution has changed via technology and the industry adapts.

Justine has to come to terms about heroin or other strong abuses, Hollywood won't help you on this one. I dealt with two siblings on this, can see it from a drunk at a family party.

Alex p keaton wasnt kidding when he made fun of mallory and her ditzy persona. Justine is Mallory like. I wanted to hear more about Michael j fox and nancy mckeon dating in the 80s. You guys were there for that and I would love to know what happened in that time. Family Ties and TFOL were 2 great 80s shows. Shes another one who resents being on "that show" as she called it. Rme she should be grateful, She sounds so bitter, her bro is a better actor. she has a false sense of her acting talent I remember her movie satisfaction. not one of julia roberts best moments,

Justine hasn't changed much. She still sounds like Mallory. Of course, she is a lot smarter than Mallory.
