Surrounded by drums at every imaginable angle, in a drum kit that is built in a geodesic sphere, that can be rolled around on the stage, with him strapped securely into the seat and able to play while the ball is rolling. Bonus points if he can drive the ball at the same time.

Sometimes I don't think the crowd really understand how complicated "some" of this is. Lol

Disagree. Couldn’t give you a percentage but there’s tons of people night in and out that go see DT play and they themselves are HUGE music nerds/musicians. They know exactly how hard this is to play.

@@masonchristiano There are two sections of this solo that I have been working on and I've been working on it for five days now, and I still can't get it down. I'm almost there at least but it makes me hate how people dislike Mangini as a drummer

@@masonchristiano respectfully, who cares. If they enjoying they are just enjoying the solo (which they most definitely are) than it doesn’t matter that some don’t understand how technical some of the stickings and polyrhythms he’s playing are. But I guess thats just how I feel as a drummer
@masonchristiano3 жыл бұрын
@@natefreedman2972 I'm a drummer as well. Maybe that's why I feel that way haha. That's awesome man. Self taught? Or did you take lessons? :) Not that neither matter to me drumming is drumming :)

I don’t know anything about drums but I do know I just watched the most incredible display of pure talent playing them.

Very nicely done! I gotta admit I hated that MP left and didn't think anyone could take his place. But I'm starting to realize that MM has a different style and sound and is every bit as talented as MP.
