Thanks Ramya for this simple and effective pooja. So, after 4 days means on Tuesday we should dissolve and throw away the salt. Is this right? I have a Lakshmi Vilakku ( Can I use that as the base vilakku. Or should all the vilakkus be only mud vilakku

Hi Sista, after lighting the diya on Friday, should we just keep the diya without lighting for 4 days or should we light the diya for all 4 days, i.e till Tuesday.

Very good information about Friday pooja, using salt, but the diya with oil, will it not get spoilt,, means when we leave the oil the diya may get sticky. Besides should we use clay diya only.

Diay once lit has to be cleaned before reuse and you also cannot reuse oil but can store it as blessing from God it's like God left little for you probably you need it can use for skin problems or also apply on hair. Even left over wick is nirmalya and have to burn off with dhoop

In South, we never let the diya to turn off, we say diya should be cooled off with flowers as shown in the video.

There are many doubts.. u have yo do for 3 days..means Friday Saturday Sunday.. so we have to use the same salt . We can keep it there only.. and light bezt day also and 3 rd day we shud remove..is it like that

It’s not necessary. But Diya should not turn off by itself. Any small Diya can light up max one hour. Thats the logic here !! Use any flowers to put down !! 😊🙏
