Naadam is a national festival celebrated every year from 11 to 13 July across Mongolia that focuses on three traditional games: horseracing, wrestling and archery.
Traditionally, the Naadam Festival symbolizes Mongolia's independence, sovereignty, national unity, statehood, history, culture, heritage, and customs.

Naadam has very different meanings in mongolian. It means to have fun or to play joyfully. It is to have fun during the days of the naadam with the competitions and the traditional games that we play such us shagai naadgai games.
